Interesting choice of weeks by ANGC due to availability of rental homes. Fall break will be over and Turkey break a few weeks down the road. ANGC must have some agreement with the schools in the works.

You guys think it's worth the risk to buy 3rd party practice round tickets? Seeing Augusta in the fall would be a once in a lifetime experience i feel like.

Yea i do need to wait and make sure it's a done deal. I went last year by purchasing a 3rd party ticket, I was a nervous wreck thinking we were may not get in but luckily we did. I would go every year if I could.

Buy from Stubhub, wait as long as you can to purchase (prices will come down, scalpers are looking for suckers to pay a fortune this far out), probably wait until the tournament is a sure thing. Enter the course as early as possible. If there's a problem with the tickets Stubhub rent's a house 1/4 mile from the course near the main parking lot. Head there to get things fixed.

Probably a good idea to read the fine print on refunds in case they end up not allowing spectators in the fall

I agree that a fall Masters is going to be a very unique event, quite possibly a once in a lifetime event.

A Master's in the fall with fans seems like a long shot (and would be really good news). Would they hold this event without fans?????

Faced with a choice between a Masters with no fans or no Masters I think they would go the no fans route, especially if the Tour has resumed with no fans by then.

The Wingate By Wyndham cancelled my 11/8 reservation via e-mail, similar to what LPGA player Marina Alex saw last month when she booked the OCT rumor dates with another Augusta Hotel..."we're sorry YOU cancelled your reservation..."

My reservation is still in tact. No need to contact anyone at present. I am a mid-tier IGH club member and a member since 1989 so I hope nothing happens to it.

Got the runaround at the Wyndham, called corporate and they kept directing me back to the property. One of the times talking to corporate they offered to rebook my rooms for the original price ($90) but then the confirmation email reflected the current $900+ price. Finally got manager at the property, they are moving April reservations to the new dates, still working on it, and if there are still rooms available after that we can have our original reservations back. So good thing we're "holding" two additional rooms now; if they come back with "sold out" then we'll tell them about these held rooms.

Suddenly I dont feel so bad for my brother and I paying the even more jacked up AirBNB rate across Washington. We would have needed two hotel rooms anyway.

I received my email from The Masters Tournament Committee this morning about the Fall time slot. There's an option to get a refund. That isn't a possibility for me. However some people may do that. If so does that mean reissue or just that many fewer patrons?

It’s mentioned in their rescheduling FAQs:

Will any additional Practice Rounds and/or Daily Tournament tickets be available for the rescheduled dates?At this time, we do not anticipate any additional tickets will be available. Should this change, tickets would be allocated through our normal application process. doubt many will take refund, would think everyone who can’t go will have friends who could

Agreed. If the Masters tournament does go on as scheduled in November the it will be a unique Masters, obviously. I doubt there will be another Masters tournament played again in the Fall. I believe this is a one and done scenario. That in itself makes this potentially a truly special Masters.

I agree with this as well. To me there is a bit of a letdown after the final round of the Masters in that I have to wait another 51 weeks before my favorite tournament begins. This year is going to be a bonus in that the wait is only 25 weeks! Silver lining moment!!!
