Does anybody know of any particular reasoning or friendships? Gonna be a cool watch I hope.

I just can’t work up any excitement about watching Brady do anything, but especially golf. Could be a game time decision whether to watch or put down some broadleaf control. If I’m able to play by then will more likely be on the course (but probably TiVo it, check the spoilers on here and decide if I want to watch).

Agree about Brady. He does seem to have sort of a bland personality when off the football field. Good thing he’s paired with the wild man Phil! At the same time hopefully Peyton pulls a little something out of tiger. The first match seemed somewhat quite and I’m hoping this one is anything but.

Who would of thought that arguably the greatest QB of all time who is married to a Victoria’s Secret Angel would ever be considered bland! ? I am obviously getting restless and need golf back!

It should be Curry and Jordan in this thing, not those two high-handicap football players. Edit: By Jordan I mean MJ of course! Not the pro golfer who puts entire galleries to sleep.

I would take Payton first just because he's no longer a professional athlete and can prepare 100% for this thing. Brady needs to look ahead to the football season and it will hold him back.

There was a bunch of trash talk before the last match too and as soon as they started playing they both clammed up - BORING!! The fact that this match is for charity is great for the charities, but not so much for the audience. There's absolutely no motivation or pressure to perform well, just like last time. I think Peyton is the only hope of this match not being another snoozefest.

Tiger and Peyton have played in multiple PGA Tour pro-ams together. Both are Nike representatives.

Problem is they need to determine what this wants to be. They are trying to be all things, which only causes them to sit in the middle. Do they want it to be an all-out, trash talking/gambling/hit and giggle match, or actual golf match more an extension of the PGA tour. I would prefer the first, but also wouldn't mind the second. I think Phil wants the first, Tiger wants more of the second.

They know how to set this thing up for pure golf. However, my two cents to make it more of an "event":

-Have a designated trash talker/hype man (doesn't have to play golf). Won't mind seeing Shaq and Barkley in different carts on different teams talking trash to each other.

-Get non-golf announcers. They does this at the lake tahoe celebrity event every year (have regular golf announcers), they take it too seriously for a fun event. Theres 18 holes, get a celebrity to guest announce for each hole.
