Good to see big organisations doing there bit to help. As a thought though, would it not have made more sense to open these up as a raffle as opposed to an auction. I would think that there would be a lot of people who would be happy to pay, say $10 to enter and take their chance with the potential there to raise more money.

they probably don't want your weekend hacker 4some joining Jim Nance on Pebble Beach and his backyard making a fool of themselves and cringe for everyone (or any of the other folks up for auction)...and i'm being 100% honest.

Yeah, I could see me doing that too. I've hit the real shot on Pebble #7 twice, and I bet I'd be more nervous hitting from Jim's replica. Probably because there's a new bag of Titleists, and chance to get my name on his plaque on the line.

I'm impressed by the generosity of Titleist throwing in a putter that costs them about $20 to make.
