Whoop.... Who has one? Is it worth it?

I have been looking into this but the website does not do a good job explaining the product IMO... Can anyone give me any feedback? Thank you...

Not exactly what you're looking for, but the Whoop founder did a really good podcast with Rory if you have the time to listen. They touch a lot on how Rory uses Whoop, and how it has changed aspects of his life. After listening I have really started to consider getting one for myself.

Don't buy it. I tried it as I was interested in my sleeping habits and trying to improve them. I can get pretty stressed out. I could lie awake at night for hours and get up exhausted and it would tell me I am 98% recovered so it was hard to believe the sleep info. Then 2 months into it the band stopped working and would not pair. Their customer support is the worst I have ever experienced. Sent in video's and emails which would take days for them to respond and then eventually they just quit responding all together. After a month of nothing I had to cancel the membership. They could have just replaced the stupid band when it quit working but they didn't even offer. I like the concept and enjoyed using it for heart rate info just the worst customer service ever and its not cheap as you have to sign up for 6 months upfront.

I’ve had Whoop for nearly 10 months and I really like it. My biggest problem was over-training and Whoop helps me understand my body’s recovery. I haven’t experienced any hardware issues so far. You can always try it for 6 months and cancel if you don't like it.

Had one for about 6 months after doing the year long deal around Christmas. I keep wearing it hoping for some breakthrough enlightening data, but so far nothing.

I like the HR monitor aspect but that’s pretty minor perk. Agree with the above statement that it sometimes cannot possibly be right about sleep patterns as I’ll toss and turn all night and it will say I’m very recovered and slept well (not always but a lot of times).

I’m still not Rory, so it’s certainly done nothing to help the golf game. Haha. It’s just interesting enough I’ll finish out the year, but definitely not renewing.

I feel the same way. I got it around the same time and it's nice for some info, but not sure if I am getting enough out of it to justify the cost. For two years, it's basically the price of an apple watch which gives similar data and has a lot more functionality.
