Any upcoming replacement for the Mizuno CLK Hybrid?

Really itching to pull the trigger on a low lofted hybrid (after many many years with my trusty Titleist 585), and settled in on either the Mizuno CLK 16 degree or a Titleist 818H2.

As the CLK was released about 2 years ago, does anyone know of a new hybrid release coming from Mizzy? Haven't seen any rumors or other hints dropped with their other new releases this year. Thanks much.

Well they released the FliHi hybrids not too long ago, from what I know that was the only hybrid to be released this year from Mizuno. I could be wrong though.

CLK needs no replacement. It is a rocket launcher. I have the 19° and I don't bag it too much, only because I'm more of an iron player. Very easy to hit and long. Never hit the 16° being a LH. That thing must be ridiculous.

My golf course head pro just tried to order me a 19* CLK Hybrid and was to they are all sold out. Sounds like inventory is clearing out. Might be a sign something is coming. Or it could just be an inventory glitch. Who knows? I do love my 25* Version though :-)

I just got the 16 clk and its a beast. I turned it to 14 and it was too low, 15 is the sweet spot. It is an animal. I have 3 hybrids now and it is by far my favorite.

Interesting. I just out my order in for a 16 degree a few days ago and should ship out tomorrow. The hybrid is something where I never felt like I needed the latest and greatest so I’ll be happy either way. Hope to see something new coming though!

It appears the new 2020 CLK Hybrids have been released. Can't find much info on them. Anybody have a chance to see one in person or hit one yet?

Hit one yesterday. Definitely not as penetrating as the 2016 model but felt more forgiving off center and had a much more consistent ball flight. One thing I loved about it was the fact that it didn’t want to go left on me. ATM I have an Exotics CBX 119 in the bag and I love the fact that I can really push into it without having to worry about that dreaded left shot and so far, the new CLK seems to be doing the same thing. It’ll be in my bag for 2020 mainly due to the extra versatility with the adjustable hosel.

Love the profile of it as well. Mizuno is killing it this year

Thanks for the response. Loved the previous model CLK, was a rocket launcher. Do you feel like you lost significant distance from the previous model?

I recently replaced my 4 Titleist 816 hybrids with 3 Mizuno 2016 CLK's 19*, 22*, and 25*.......still trying to find a 16* - not even sure they offered it in R-flex!!! If they did, there's none to be had anywhere. HELP! (R preferred but would consider a S) I've played a few rounds and hit the 25* the most. I can attest to the Rocket Launcher comment. I hit just short of the flag and rolled off the back of the green with the 19* from 186 yards. That would have needed a 17* from the 816's .... and I've loved Titleist hybrids. (910 and 915's previously). BIG FAN of the Mizzy's! I've never even hit a Mizzy wood of any kind previously....though I've owed several sets of irons and currently game the 919 Hot Metals. Well Done Mizuno!!!

(COVID impulse purchase that DIDN'T pan out. After loving the hybrids...I took a flyer on a ST190. I was impatient and bought the glued version. Big mistake. I generally set mine to a slight draw and upright. Not feeling at all comfortable with this club glued standard, and the reliable 917 is staying in the bag for now.)
