Here’s what I got this morning.

My hybrid ordered 5/5 just got updated from 5/21 assembly date to 6/4.

For those who ordered 0211’s, you can expect deliveries of late July or early August (according to two different sales staff).

I got an updated build date as well.

Ordered 4/25. Original build date was 5/10. Now it's 5/25.

I might be cancelling my order.

I see your point. But I don’t think they are going out.

I know that they had a very small group building clubs through the shutdown. And with the 0211 club head back ordered, I’m thinking they are just overloaded.

On the other hand, why would they reduce prices so much, sell Prototype drivers, and liquidate inventories?

4/25 order here too. Just saw build is now 5/25 from 5/10. May cancel as well! A little frustrating.

Hope you're right because they make fantastic stuff, but they could have easily ended the special pricing when they saw they were overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with demand. There's more going on to this story than COVID issues.

Well, with lots of people cancelling, that should move my order up the line.

I ordered a long iron on 4/22. Last weekend It had not moved yet and i noticed that the 0311x went down to $159 so I called to switch it out. But instead of just switching the original order they have to cancel your order, refund you, which takes 10 days, and then process another order, which puts you back at square 1. Kinda sucks because the new date is 6/9, but whatever.

That said, the order numbers were 6500+ digits different. So between the 22nd and the 9th there were over 6500 orders. They said they did like 10k orders in April, and it looks like they are on track for at least that many this month.

I’d say that they are doing pretty good all things considered. I understand the heartburn, but it’s also like what do you really expect.

Honestly, I’ve been told it’s a combination of back orders and the limited builders (5 at a time) allowed in the facility.

they have 3 shifts building seven days a week but still can’t keep up. Some gen 2 heads are arriving soon to fulfill some old orders but those will be used up before all pending orders are fulfilled. There are over 900 sets of gen 2 clubs in the queue as of Thursday but another shipment from Taiwan is coming.

The 0211’s are on the way but again those won’t be enough to fill all orders (over 1000 sets) Another shipment is being made but won’t arrive until early July, hence the projected delivery of late July/aug for this model.

I simply couldn’t wait that long so I canceled my orders.

I have no idea whether PXG is going out of business, but they simply can’t keep up given the current business environment and extended pricing specials.

They are just moving build dates to one month out or 4 weeks from your order date? I don’t think we are being told the whole story?

If they want to fill more orders, they would get another building and staff to go do.

They said to look for the credit in 10-12 days. That seems excessively long. I just am not getting the warm fuzzies over the whole way this has gone.

I ordered a 0811 X Gen 2 Driver a couple weeks ago through Discount Dans - they quoted 2-3 weeks of turnaround time.

Order date 5/12... Was originally set to be picked on the 24th, now bumped back to 6/12.

Called DD yesterday on my 4/20 order and he said they are just getting to the builds ordered that week so I was still at least a week out from shipping.

Cancelled my order late yesterday, and was surprisingly smooth. No questions on why, no trying to talk out of it. Just thanks and have a good one. I'm assuming this is almost as common as the dates being pushed back.

Ordered 5/11, items picked/in assembly as of today. 10 days isn’t too bad, I’m guessing there’s a decent amount of people canceling or ordering out of stock shafts

How is that possible? What did you order? I've got two orders, 4/27 & 5/2, and both show one month estimated build dates.

0211, 5-PW with elevate tour in S flex. I have no idea, I postulate that my order was pretty vanilla (standard loft, lies, grips) compared to others that might have components that are out of stock... who knows. I was very pleasantly surprised but I feel for those still waiting, regardless I would’ve waited until summer considering how affordable they were.

 

FWIW the original estimate was 6/12 I believe so maybe you’ll get some good news shortly

Update on my 4/21 Gen 2 SGI order shipped yesterday 5/21. Suppose to be here on Wednesday. Took the full 4weeks.

My order went from 5/24 to 6/9 to shipped over the last couple days. When I ordered, I had asked if they had any masks in stock, bc I assumed they would just send the mask with the club and I heard people had to wait over a month to get a mask, so I didn’t want it to delay the build of the club. They were in stock so then, when i see estimated date go to a month, I assumed they would just be shipping the mask at some point and I would get the club after the estimated date. The order shows shipped, but the only thing on the order is the mask and there is nothing about the club. So now Who knows what’s really going on. Guess I’ll just wait and see what I get.

Update 4/21 SGI Gen 2 iron order arrived yesterday 5/27.

I cancelled my order 11 days ago. No refund to the credit card yet. If nothing by Monday I guess I'll be calling them.

My order from 4/27 (updated build date 5/27) has not shown movement, so I gave them a call today. What I was told is that they were finishing up orders from 4/26 and starting orders from 4/27, today. So my stuff should be build within the next few days. So whatever your build date is, add 2 days to it and it's what people can expect for now. Hope this helps some of you.

Still no cancellation refund after two weeks. I called and now they advise it takes 10-15 business days, ie 2-3 weeks. I'm sorry, that is absurd. Whatever, I'll call back Friday or Monday if still nothing. I just don't get a great feeling here about their financial stability.

Well, I'm officially getting annoyed. No updates or movement on my 4/27 order and my other order, 5/1, I feel it's going to be a longer wait.
