I have had some requests about a thread where people can talk about my show, give some suggestions, and things like that. I figured I would start one and see where it goes. If you don't listen to any of the podcasts on GolfWRX Radio, I would urge you to give them a try. There is a show I think for everyone under the GolfWRX Radio umbrella.

 

This week's show: First round of the season is happening Saturday and I go through what sticks I am bringing! Can't wait to get out there and lose a few biscuits! Also, I got my Scotty Catalina Two putter thanks to a member here!

Thanks, the Catalina has been really cool to have back. Funny how after all these years the putter was a little different than I remember! Wonder how many other old classics would do the same if I grabbed them!

 

Rob left GolfWRX and is off doing a new project, I wish him nothing but success on it!

Hey Brian! love the show. You need to rediscover what TG2 means.. Since the T is no longer two and the Guy is singular. Haha. Unless you find another regular guy to talk with.

Love that retro setup! I had a bunch of MacGregor stuff around that time, but never hit that NVG2 fairway! I almost threw the MacGregor V Foil M675 irons that I played back in the day on the list! That Rife putter was crazy popular here in the forum!

I had some of the M675 irons.. Soo good. I sold them to my bro in law.. I think he still has them. Maybe I will ask for them back... The NVG was great. Titanium face, super hot. Very under the radar.

So my next questions is do you guys have any interest in video podcasts? I know some people don't necessarily "watch" them on YouTube since they are just a guy sitting there, but some people use YouTube as a way to listen.

For me, IG LIVE is a lot better.

 

after I see a post for time/date with count down, I tune in.

 

listeners give question and interact with the discussion which makes the content a lot more interesting.

 

after the live session, I love it when the host post the live session on YOUTUBE and a IG post.

 

I think that’s the best of all worlds.

I think options are good. I think youtube is better than instagram live. It give you a chance to edit before putting something out that has bad sound or tech issues. There is soooo much instagram live stuff right now, and much of it is really annoying due to one person or another having issues.

Youtube gives you a chance to see some of the stuff you are talking about. You could even just do the videos as you tinker with your stuff.

Since Mondays off is a bit hit or miss. I guess it is only right that someone calls you out for sandbagging in your first round of the year since Steve is not able to. LOL

Let us know what you think about the Fuji Pro Iron 115 TX. I tested a 115 TS and that thing was stout.

For sure they feel stout, just from the in-hand “flexing”. I should get them shafted up today or tomorrow for hitting next week.

Podcast went up yesterday morning and I apologize for not posting the links in here right away! Had some stuff out there last week and honestly I was really digging the SIM Max / Motore X F3 combo. Like CPG says, handicap maintenance should be a top priority. Goes unnoticed by too many league golfers!
