Not that I’m gonna be golfing anytime soon but has anyone tried Short Par 4 subscription boxes?

Noticed the prices even for Canada aren’t too bad. Just was looking at the lowest priced boxes too.

If you’ve used them, what did you think?

I still get the boxes/bags from SP4. Most months there is good stuff in there and worth the value. Other months, not so much.

When they started sending their own SP4 branded stuff, they lost a bunch of subscribers I’d bet. They have stopped sending a lot of that and mostly send name brand stuff now. Puma, Travis Mathew, UA, Adidas, Matte Grey, Callaway, Antigua, and Chase54 are the most common brands they send now. We got Callaway golf shoes last month.

It’s a good service if you like getting golf stuff in the mail. It’s also good if you don’t like to shop. I have piles of stuff I won’t get around to wearing so I’m selling most of it on eBay right now. But occasionally they’ll send something I love and it’ll go straight into the rotation.

I left about 2 years ago when they were sending sp4 branded clothes every month. I still have credits from returning things as well. They never offer anything in their return shop.

 

I can't give an opinion on it currently. But it wasn't worth it before.

Noticed a lot of the clothing in the pictures were their own so kind of figured that might be the case now.

Is there any other boxes anyone else uses? I know not all are available for Canada.

They made promises early on guaranteeing range finders and other nice items and completely failed to send them out. Most people bailed then. I bailed when I learned math. If you have a Ross or Marshall’s or similar store nearby, you can save a few bucks per month and pick what you actually want. I loved the concept, but got too many useless items with a huge “value” but no useable purpose.

Ross is legit for golf clothes.

They had every size except mine of some Under Armor golf spikes right before the Covid shutdown

Why get a subscription box for anything other than necessities? I can't imagine anybody needing that much random golf stuff (yes random, so you'll end up with extras and stuff you don't like or need). Please save your money for something you really want.

On the flip side of the negative comments above, this month we got a Greg Norman polo and shorts. The polo was fire and I wore it today. Instantly into my wardrobe. The shorts I’ll likely keep also, very comfortable and stretchy. The only thing that might make me end up selling them is the massive amount of belt loops.

Great stuff this month. Didn’t have to leave the house. Nowhere to shop anyway besides Target and Walmart. Not exactly hubs of golf fashion.
