I am 120-122mph with the driver

Have the sim max 10.5 (9.75 loft) with the Iz7x in it right now.

finding if very spinny, high and out to the right.

Be sure to try them first if possible. I find the SIM pretty low spin. That being said I started out with the standard sim in 10.5 when I was on it was really good but I found that the SIM max provides better over all performance in a 9 degree head. I got my strike stabilized, I think it is due to the slightly deeper face and higher MOI. Much better on misses for me.

How forgiving is the SIM in comparison to say the TS3 or the Ping 410 line? I am shopping for a new driver and I am at information overload right now.....every driver seems to be the best. I want to choose 3 to test and the SIM is at the top of the list right now... also, how do i know if i need more or less spin? I hit everything really high so im assuming i need less spin????

For the amateur golfer, literally any driver from the 2019/2020 cycle will be just fine once you settle into it. They'll all go the same distance when matched up with a shat that gives you optimal numbers and all do the same thing.

I had a TS3 and now the Sim max. I like the max for the forgiveness and distance. I also liked that they offered a 12* loft so I could turn it down with out closing the club face. The Ts3 the highest loft is 10.5 and turning it down in loft didn’t really work for me. I would say for me the TS3 is the only driver out there I would consider playing over the SIM. If you can try out the drivers in a fitting I’m sure one 2 will have what you’re looking for.

I have had my Sim Max 10.5 for a few months now and have never hit more fairways in my life. I ordered mine with the stock Diamana and ended up with a couple AD GP’s in 6s and 6x. For my 105 swing the 6s worked out the best and it has been a point and shoot. I sold the 6x to my playing partner who plays the Sim 8 degree and he has never drove the ball better either. This lineup is one of the best.

I have had the following drivers in the bag: M1 in 7.5*, M3 in 8.5*, ts3 in 8.5, ts5 in 8.5* and now the SIM in 8*. I have paired the SIM to a Fujikura speeder 661 evo iv shaft and so far, it has the best driver I've ever hit. I have tried my fair share of drivers (albeit, limited between Callaway, Honma, TM and Titleist models), and none of them have compared to the SIM. Feel is number 1 for me, and the SIM has got to be the best feeling driver since, dare I say, the titleist 975d? Not only does the SIM feel great, but the flight and performance is just as good as anything I've ever tried. Hats off to the experts at TM, I'm in love my new driver.

I think you're spot on about the feel. Its totally different than anything else out there, feels much more like a Gen 1 or Gen 2 titanium driver from any of the big OEMs.

You'll get more consistent spin numbers from sim.max....at least I saw that. I'm in regular sim though. I had an issue with the hard right miss too but fixed it by

1. 10g weight in heel and 4g weight in center

2. Upright lie setting

I have only had 1 really bad hard right miss since early March and it was all on me. 20mph headwind, tried to hit a draw, and got quick from the top and tried to hammer it. Just a dumb shot altogether. This sim setup has been so good once I got it dialed in.

Coming from m5 last year, I actually hit more fades with my SIM Max now than I ever did with m5

Only tried regular SIM in a simulator but I couldn't control that thing for the life of me. Outdoors after 3 rounds the Max isn't gonna work for me I dont think. I want to love it but currently dunno where the heck its going (mainly right)

haven't put it up but I was gonna put the Max head up for sale

High, Nasty, Straight, Bombs.......

10.5 degree cranked down to 8.5. I play my driver at 44.25" long and had to add around 16g head weight to get it to D3. Very consistent set up for me, but distance is basically the same as M5. Feel/sound to me is exactly the same.

Love that these things are so hard to hit left, yet still uber forgiving and good ball speed. Can't wait for my SIM Max to get in!

3 rounds in (with little practice time) I'm not really finding the SIM 10.5 to be fade biased at the moment, pretty neutral still. I've got it set up as stock as can be in loft and weight placement and if anything I've drawn the ball a bit more; I did find a few quick lefts but those 2 were on swings where I got a little short or quick on it as I adjust to a new shaft. I tried to hit a cut Saturday on a severely left to right hole and hit the dreaded straight ball into the junk. I also find it plenty easy to elevate where I believe my previous m5 I had up a notch. I continue to be a big fan, this coming weekend will be a good test on a bit more demanding of a course off the tee.

I’m with you. I am not hitting the fades like others on here, but instead i am getting the ultra sexy, high drawing ballflight. But then again I have my current setup like this:

13 handicap here swing speed around 105-108. Previously gamed 2016 m2 in 10.5.

Picked up the sim (not max) in same 10.5 loft with the Stock Diamana and I freaking love it. I play it in stock settings and It does seem to launch a bit higher but my misses are definitely more playable with this driver than my previous. Maybe the twist face tech? Something about it feels very smooth and long. I don’t find it to be fade biased at all.
