My first, "I'm-in-love-2-Iron," was a MP-33.

 

Something about those Mizuno long Irons.

Amen to that? I think I’m going to send my old MP-14 and MP-29 sets in for a refinish. This set has brought back some great memories.

I can't say I had a love affair with my Mizunos. Oddly, just that dang 33, 2 Iron.

 

It was a weapon. Fellow competitors at the time, knew of me because of my usage with the mystical 33 2 Iron.

 

That was a helluva year playing golf for me.

 

I had 7 top 3 finishes in 10 events. Trophy after trophy, medal after medal. But I could never, close the dang door. My closest opportunity was a 2 man playoff. Myself and a fellow competitor. He got me on the 2nd playoff hole after a boneheaded 3 putt from about 20 feet. I should have closed it out on the 1st playoff hole, but he hit probably the shot of his life from the green side trees and managed to drain the putt.

 

Oh well!

 

Eventually got my 1st solo victory some 16 years later. Was bitter sweet. Took far too long, but I managed to do it in convincing fashion.

I think so as well. TW has history with MP29 irons, but also MP14s. No doubt they been collecting dust is his club storage facility.

Not a bad thing at all. I lavish the opportunity of making people feel uncomfortable!

I walked into Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place, everyday for 3 years, in an Eagles hat. Gronk told me to take it off. Pat Chung, Jared Mayo, Brandon Browner, Kevin Faulk, all the same. No dice! When you bleed green, you bleed green! Pats fans already abandoning ship because Tommy is gone. Can't wait to see them drift into irrelevance. Gillette Stadium will resemble Sullivan Stadium! No loyalty, only fair weather!

Kevin Faulk is one of a kind. A true gentleman and a true leader. One of my favorites. Big Issac, another true gentleman. One of a kind, the Big Hawaiian. His mom and dad flew in from Hawaii during a bye week, and Big I, a professional athlete, brought his parents in to meet me. Another giant teddy bear was Big Vince. Always had something up his sleeve! Good times. Fun times.
