Cure putter into long putter?

Does anyone know the shaft tip diameter of the cure RX series? Wondering if anyone as ever given any thought into turning these into a long putter or face on style. Thinking it might be a nice project to try of its possible. But I didn't know if these putters had some special shaft tip that can only be a manufacturer only repair

How long are you trying to make it? I have an old Maltby copy of a Ping Pal 6 I extended about 6" over 20 years ago to 41" and the extension has never gotten loose. Just take an old shaft and make sure you have about 2" going down into the end of the present shaft (should be very snug and stop on a step), rough it up and glue it in with shafting epoxy. You should be able to get it pretty long that way and it will be straight if your extension fits tightly...

That's what I would do. You can buy long extensions on various sites for a few bucks. On a putter it should fit tight for many years.

Tip is .370 - The extension is probably not a bad way to go though.

Sure did. Really like the feel and balance. Paired the RX5 with extra weights. Filled shaft w sand.
