Kevin... Why is connecting directly with Mr. Evans a requirement to order a PBS? As I stated above, one week and I had 2 in my mailbox.

Mark, after many pages of horror stories I just don't want the hassle of placing an order on the site and hoping it gets filled. His lack of response to my email isn't exactly getting me more comfortable about placing an online order.

I'm glad your order got filled in a timely manner, but it seems that has been the exception rather than the rule over the last few months.

Hi Kevin,

I fully understand. I also was scared off by some of the stories in here, But after reading about Jeff's health concerns and seeing him reply to many posts... I felt more comfortable placing my order. I had the Google Checkout option, so this is why I posted a successful order experience. I feel PBS is a 1-man operation, so I don't believe there is someone monitoring every inquiry (not good business practice)... all my opinion only.

Also, if you have 'The Impact Zone" by Bobby Clampett, read chapter 3 where it talks about lag. That is the single best thing I read that helped me fully appreciate lag and the PBS.


Best golf book I own for many other reasons too.

Let me ask you guys that just got a PBS, is it hard plastic or semi-soft? The reason I ask is I got a used one a couple of months ago from ebay and it is really hard. In fact, it hurts my hand to practice with it. I was wondering if had become hard over time or was meant to be that way.
