PXG $95 per 0211 iron

Finally got shipping notification, going to end up being 4 weeks from order to arrival. I did look back at my invoice and noticed they only charged me 30$ shipping for the full set of irons though

I got a shipping notification today for an order from 4/17 also...arrival expected is Friday so the current lead time is 4 weeks. 0211 irons, 0811X Gen 2 driver and Bat Attack Gen 1 putter. Friday can't come soon enough.

In the same boat here....currently use Srixons 565-765 combo set and would want to know which would work better the Gen 1 or the 0211 ?

Called pxg this morning to order the gap and pw in the 0211's. Was told they are now out of 0211 heads, and the plant that makes them is shut down. If I ordered them, they would not be available until mid AUGUST!

I called a couple days ago. Website shows my order was supposed to be picked and assembly starting on 5/10. I asked the guy on the phone about back ordered heads. He didn’t see it as a problem, because they were expecting a shipment by the end of this month. He was not sure if my order would be affected.

Unfortunately depends on who you speak to a pxg. called back today about the 0211's, and the guy told me 4-6 weeks!

I posted this in another thread, but I placed an order on 4/16 for 0211s, 5-pw with Elevate Tour shafts, and they just went into production this week. So that's about 4 weeks before they went into being built.

Because of their existing backlog and all the new orders coming in, I would expect that 4-6 weeks is more realistic for all orders now.

I should have my Gen2 irons order on Monday, which will be over a month from my 4/16 order date. That said, I would have had them in hand under a month if I had gone direct with PXG. The shipping to DD and then from DD to the customer adds some lag time (a good deal in my case).

And I think PXG is even more slammed now than they were previously. Good problem for PXG to have I guess in the current environment, though they'll have lots of impatient golfers all over them for their orders. Is what it is.

They are definitely slammed. And when I ordered, my fitter said they only had 5 people in the build shop. I’m guessing that they have more now, but there has to be quite the backlog.

Someone got a great deal on set this morning from PXG-Express. 5-PW for $490 with free shipping on eBay.

They had 0 feedback, so I didn’t buy. Looks like PXG opened an eBay store, and they’re cleaning out more inventory.

From their store inventory it appears they are selling returns or slightly shop worn but mint items on ebay.

Anyone with the 211’s having a problem with gapping? My buddy just got these and he has about a 30-40 yard gap between his pw and his gap wedge now. He even ordered them 2* weak like I told him too

Absolutely not... he could check the lofts on each but that is like 3 clubs difference so it probably has more to do with him than the club.

No issues at all. Love both the PW and GW--great on full shots, half shots, etc.

If the lofts and lengths are correct it sounds like operator error. That is a massive difference between PW & GW.

My 0211 irons were just delivered. Ordered 4/15. Waiting a month was hard enough. I don't think I could survive waiting till August if they're really not able to complete order till then.

I finally got around to checking the specs on my clubs (0311x 4 iron and 0211 5-PW, all +1/2 inch with midsize grips). I was happy to find that every club was the correct length (2 were within 1/16th inch so I’m calling that good) with 1 swingweight point (only the PW was “heavier”, which I prefer anyhow). I know they were some horror stories about shoddy builds but mine are right on (built last summer).

Got my 0317x hybrid & 4-PW 0211’s a couple of days ago (ordered directly from PXG on 4/17). Anyone who ordered 0211’s noticed the serial numbers don’t match (each iron has a different serial)? Also the font on my 6-iron is different (smaller & fainter) than the others. Not worried, just curious.

Yes, each club manufactured by PXG will have a serial number and each s/n will be unique.

FWIW, I called this afternoon to check on timing for the 811x I ordered & the guy I talked to had never heard of them having an eBay store. Could be a new thing he didn’t know about. But could also be something else...

always ask for serial numbers, I guess.

I checked the trademark for "PXG Express" before I purchased a driver from them. I received an order confirmation from PXG just like I had purchased from their website. I can confirm it's legit.

Just don't expect a PXG box when it's free shipping LOL - My driver came in a plain 48x4x4 brown box.
