Putter Fitting Review

I am considering doing a putter fitting at club champion, just curious if anyone has done this and how this affected your scores afterwards.

I got one and I definitely thought it was beneficial. Mainly for the length, loft, and lie angle measurements. I already knew i fit into a plumber neck anser style due to my slight arc and I know the headweight that felt right to me. Getting the length lie and loft down was huge and every time I stand over a putt now the putter feel perfect for me

I don't get putters as often as I get the rest of the equipment, that said, I always get fitted for any putter I get, the latest addition is the Scotty, which my kids bought me for last years father's day, got fitted and it's in the bag, it will probably be there for a long time, this is the first golf equipment they put together money for as a gift for me...that said, the putter is amazing!!!, fitting was and it should be the best thing to do with anything golf equipment you have...

I recently did a putting fitting at club champion. I thought all of the technology they use was beneficial. However, I tried multiple styles of putters and had very similar results with each. The putt they had me test on was a dead straight 10 footer, so once I got the speed, it become very repetitious and didn’t much matter which putter I had. Overall I thought it was a cool experience, but it didn’t help solving my blade vs mallet questions that I had going in

I went through one at the beginning of the year. I have always used a toe hang putter but I was fit into a face balanced putter on their machine. I then bought a new putter based on all of their recommendations. Used it for a month and change, then went back to a toe hang because from my stats, my putting was worse, especially from the 10 to 20 foot range. As soon as I went back, my stats returned to normal.

I will say, it was very interesting and informative. I defiantly enjoyed the heck out of it. Just don't jump headfirst into a new head shape or style.
