HZRDUS Smoke Yellow is my current love. I have used Project X LZ handcrafted for years - it's a soft mid shaft. While I use 6.5 flex I like to feel loading in my swing and the LZ was the best ever for me. Smoke Yellow seems to me to be a new version of that shaft. Just my 2 cents.

I think in terms of the objective amount of play and attention they have gotten, the Ventus Black and Blue have to take the cake there. The last time there was this much rapid tour adoption it was with the Aldila Rogue line back in 2015(?) and the Tensei line in 2017/2018.

I have to agree with Valtiel. Fujikura Ventus line has to be to the winner. Very quick adoption on Tour, also seemed like a bunch of guys that hadn’t been gaming Fujikura shafts put the Ventus in play. Great work by Fujikura team.

Fujikura Ventus and Atmos are at the top of my list. I play the Blue in both and love them. I really like the Accra line up, too. I cannot wait to test out the Nippon GOST at some point as well.

Oh, DRIVER shafts!?! For me, iron shafts are more critical as I hit them more often than 12-14 times a round. I soft-stepped and tip-weighted a set of TT XP 95s and got the biggest change in dispersion, ball flight, and distance than I ever imagined I would. No balloning, arrow-straight/hit-where-I-aimed shafts I have ever played, ever! For a driver, I snapped a GD Purple Ice last year - best driver shaft I’ve tried and no longer available...heartbroken!
