Grabbed a set of p790s during last weeks sale. ($650 for like new for the 2019 set)
first swing with the 6 iron, heard cracking in my back swing. Playing partners heard it too. Shaft ended up snapping in half at the grip. I’d like to think it’s because I have speed and lag like Cam Champ but it’s just a manufacturing defect.

such a shame because this is the 2nd set of p790s I’ve owned that had had quality issues. First one was the 2017 set that had ferrules coming loose. I know neither of these are TMs fault but man, these are such great sticks to continuously have something go bad on me. And both sets were at great deals in which I’ll probably not find at the same price and condition

worst part is that i know CPO has exceptional customer service but I’ve called 3 times yesterday only to be on hold for 30 min with no one picking up
