Carbon Putters

Has anyone had any experience with Carbon Putters? They were on the 2017 Hot List, but I have not really seen anyone on here mention them.

 

Any thoughts? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

I have a Ringo 1/4, pretty happy with it. a decent putt.

I like the 370g head. with a counterbalanced grip.

Quality is good, not extraordinary. Its not as elaborated as a the Sigma G, or a high end like Scotty Cameron or a ENVROLL

 

I received a Ping Sigma G putter as a gift and been using it since January.

I'm going back to the Carbon, this week because the Sigma is too light for my liking.

Anyone have a recent like last few months review? I just ordered a carbon putter and I’m second guessing based on these reviews. I mean they quoted 5 weeks for completion but I’m sending a futura to slighter for a flow neck on it and he told me a week for that job which is actually more work than milling a putter with a computer program.

I ordered a Carbon and it is currently being shipped. 5-6 weeks in all. I don't have it in hand yet but it is one of the quickest turnarounds I've seen by a putter company. 5 weeks is nothing for a putter compared to some other builders

This just arrived today. Ringo CS with bullet inlay and element 21 finish. Very happy with how clean it looks.

I was in Denver last week and visited their shop. Unfortunately, I was VERY disappointed with my experience...

 

First: They had an AMAZING 303 prototype in all matte black, with a matte black shaft just SITTING there for me to see.

 

Second: They let me hang out and roll putts for an hour, knowing full well that I'd fall in love with it.

 

Third: Those jerks offered to HOLD the putter for a day while I decided if I wanted to buy it. Oh, they knew full well what they were doing.

 

Lastly: When I came back the next day they actually sold it to me, even though they could clearly see I have a problem. I can't believe these dirty pushers are allowed to keep taking the hard earned money from poor club hoes like myself. They should be ashamed!

 

All kidding aside, I had a great time hanging out and looking at all the putters they had in the shop. I'm terrible with names, but they were all very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I walked away with a B-E-A-UTIFUL Carbon 303 in matte black. No sightlines and no logos other than a very small chamber logo in the cavity. The putter head itself is a deep matte black, but the sole is more polished (he called it satin), which I love cause I won't worry about sand on the greens scratching up the matte finish. It basically looks just like THIS, but no paint-fill and much deeper black. The shaft is also completely matte black and I had them throw a black leather grip on it. It's even more "murdered out" than my Machine M20.

 

I took it to a putting green at a nearby course, but I haven't had a chance to actually take it out for a round yet. Hopefully next week, so I'll report back. I'll also try to take some good pictures of it at the same time and post them up.

Looks good that’s what I ordered too and that’s what I’m expecting. I also got the element finish on mine in matte.

First round with my Carbon Holiday GSS Flowneck. Looks great, felt great and made a lot of putts today. I'm gonna change out the stock grip but loving everything else about it! Keep in mind you are dealing with a two brother and mom operation, don't expect tons of follow-up but they do answer your questions are very helpful and when it all boils down you get a quality custom offering for a fraction of the price! It took about a month, got a couple details wrong but nothing that was a big deal.

 

I was told mine is the first ever GSS Holiday Flowneck they made which I thought was super cool.

Not sure if anyone will see this given the age of the thread, but does anyone know what shaft tip size for Carbon putters? .370?
