Also, where is the valuables pocket on this one? And it's hard to tell from the pictures, but does this bag not have the padding for your back that the Lite and Player bags have?

@arydolphin The Valuables Pocket is located inside the larger, right side pocket ? Correct, the VLX does not have the padded section that's on the other bags. @dillardiv No plans to release the VLX in the tech material as of now. However, you could always order one custom made!

Just got my white VLX in today. Quality on this bag is great/typical Vessel. I was able to fit my full set of 14 clubs plus alignment sticks — fit is tight but that was expected with a 7x7 top. Will hopefully be able to take it out on the course soon to see how it performs.

Looks great! How’s it carry? Why did you decide to clip the rangefinder instead of using the magnetic pocket? How’s it feel without the hip pad? I’ve had my eye on this bag.

Haven't had a chance to get on the course yet, but it feels comfortable picking it up in the house adjusting the straps. I filled that magnetic pocket with tees and a couple balls (also, removed the bottle opener clip/loop from the top and looped it around the fabric pull to make it easier to open). I'm pretty used to grabbing my rangefinder from the top of the bag, so just don't want to bend over to pull it out of that other pocket. Might change my mind. Old bag had minimal padding on the hip area and this material is pretty thick, so I don't think that will be a problem.
