DJ at RBC Heritage with 2 hybrids?

Anyone else catch this? Dustin Johnson WITB 2020He's starting to get a back that looks like us amateurs with a 3 and 4 hybrid.

Look at Webb's bag, what he has driver / 3w / 5w / 3h / 4h. Or some combination therefore.

 

I wish I could still hit a hybrid. 2-3 years ago I just totally lost my ability to hit them and went to a 5w. It's more playable but really dislike it from the tee, just have to remember to just throw it on the ground and play it like a nice lie from the fairway.

Just depends what he decides to game from the looks of it. I see 15 clubs - Driver, 3w, two hybrids, 5-PW, and four more wedges including a 64.

Smart to have this option for certain courses. He probably wanted it for certain holes off the tee or for coming into Par 5s with small greens. I'm surprised we don't see it more often.

I have a feeling that he switches out the two hybrids depending on the week and plays the 4-iron full time. Have a hard time seeing him playing two hybrids.

I agree. The putter isn't correct in the WRX WITB either. He used a Spider Mini at the Heritage not a Spider X.

Was just an article on Golf.com, saying he took the 3 wood out for the 2 hybrids based on distances for the RBC Heritage, was carrying the 19-260 and the 22-245.

At this point I never believe what I see in DJ's bag lol, the man would change putters/woods in the middle of the round if it was allowed.
