Good idea, a blade with adjustable weighting. I like the shape and the satin finish.

I don’t think the weight will be removable anywhere but at the factory. The matte finish looks so good. I think they look amazing and the hand stamping is awesome. Can’t wait to see them.

need to see these. Cally is pretty good about treating us lefty's good too. would love to see these come out lefty. Looking to get an extra set of irons and these could be the ticket.

Look interesting. I prefer the current blades. If they want to add tungsten to move the cog I hope they hide it under the finish.

Make them satin and raw. Get rid of the polished chrome that looks terrible after one round.

Yeah I don’t know why that chrome or mirrored finish is desired. Mizuno has that dustier finish on the JPX line. Cobra has their DBM. Ping has their finish found on blue prints. TM is pretty chromey.

I just don’t like the glare. Never been a fan.

If memory serves, Taylormade had weighting

simular to one of their mb's, maybe not.

I just can't get on board with any blade that has a plug or weight in it. It should be against the law! I'm a big Ping fan but the toe weight in Pings blade was the reason I never even gave them a second thought when looking at a new set of irons. These Apex don't do anything for me because of the weight.

jk. i kinda agree with you. i wasn't a fan of the MB's that TM came out with back in ('12 i think?) that had the octagonal weight in the back. same here.

It’s a brilliant way for them to be able to nail swingweight for the mass market and still deliver a precisely located sweetspot. The only real alternative is to have a manufacturing tolerance of zero, but that requires a much higher price point.

I love the photo of the sleek 9 iron in the bag right next to the clunky (not really) PW. It just screams WRX to me. I need my surgical 9 iron yet, it's good to have a GI style wedge to go 160 yards LOL!

Of course. When your playing partner asks you what club you hit for 160, you say PW and their 6 iron just withers in their hand.

I found the current model to be the softest feeling blade when I tested most of the current offerings, softer than the MP20
