Anyone know if they changed the offset this year? Looking for complete no off set or even slight onset. Arias trueoffset.com were the only ones I have been able to find but there not forged so concerned about feel. Anyone know what the offset will look like on these 2020 Srixons or have a recommendation for true non offset forged irons??

Agreed. Having just checked in on the forum for the first time in a while, the ZX5 screams "Hot Metal" to me. The utility isn't a million miles off the HMB head shape either.

I posted in the equipment thread here, but I was doing some sleuthing and came across what I think was an accidentally non-password protected zip file with images of the ZX5. A bit more detail here than the USGA conforming list photos:

Major improvement with no cheap black badging on the back in the cavity. Still going with the ZX7 but this is a major improvement........

sorry if I missed it but do we know how much a Standard combo set will cost? Will it be $1000 like the 785,585 combo? Or is that a sale price? I’m looking to get new irons and my budget is $1000. If I can get the new ones for that then I’ll just wait until they come out.

You can get a combo set of those brand new for much cheaper than 1000 right now! For the 585/785 combo

MSRP for the 85 series has been $999 all along. I haven't seen anything about the MSRP for the new ones yet and wouldn't be surprised if they went up a little since every other company has been raising prices lately. I was honestly surprised the 85 series still came in under $1000 since prices were rising before they released.

When I did my fitting for the 785s with the Srixon rep we talked a lot about irons and golf balls. He told me one of Srixon's missions was to not increase their prices. So hopefully the new line of irons come out at the same retail price.

Not surprised. Their golf ball deals aren't matched by anyone. If they release new versions, they immediately sell them at a discounted price for a short period of time to get them into people's hands.

The 5s don't look as forgiving as previous versions. Didn't the older ones had slots cut into the muscle to have more speed/forgiveness low on the face?

I noticed a lack of an undercut channel also.... I’m guessing they want these to be more forgiving than the previous model though so it will be interesting to hear the marketing hype....

I believe that the undercut is still there, but just covered up more. You can see a slit in the pictures, meaning that it is still hollow at the bottom.

Those pics just look like recycled z785s. I mean if the goal was to stay the same, goal accomplished. I personally dont like the looks of them. I also wasnt crazy about t100s looks on either but hitting those changed my mind. We shall see.

I remember when the Z785’s were first posted in the forums, people were not happy about the looks of them and the same thing is happening now. I can absolutely assure everyone on here that this lineup looks stunning in person. The chrome finish looks absolutely rock solid up close. These will be a huge win for Srixon

Agree 100%. I have Miura TC 201's being built right now, but question their ability to outperform my 785's. I'll believe it when I see it.

I am officially jealous. Last set of Miura irons I had were the CB 1008’s....God I miss them, I should have never sold them. Live and learn...
