Just about any of the plastic ones, a pack of 30 lasts me for months. They're quite durable, might break one once every few rounds.

I buy the consistenstee, helps me always have the ball at the same height and I can get multiple rounds out of one tee easily

I use wooden tees (wood color), I used to have plastic tees, that I bought in Hawaii and haven't seen them again, white thin stem with black crown like top, loved them...if anyone knows the brand please let me know.

I used stinger for probably 4 years and recently switched to western birch, they have a lot of great color choices and they hold up a little better from what I've seen so far but you can't go wrong with either.

It has to be wooden tees for me, never have liked the plastic ones and never will.

 

The NLU branded tees are now available from a supplier in the UK which means not having to pay twice us much as the tees are worth just for delivery from your side of the pond so I picked up a bag of them a few weeks ago. Yet to use them but they look cool!

What’s the difference between stinger and western birch? I have been using tour tees but the rubber has been breaking more and more. If I use a cheap regular wooden tees I break them on every tee shot. What do you guys recommend? Not looking to break the bang but want reliable tees that won’t break often.

Stop using PLASTIC TEES!! Buy a huge bag of Wooden ones once every year or 2. Plastic tees should be discontinued permanently in my opinion.

Why is that? I've never heard of any correlation.

I almost never break tees except for par 3's or teeing off with the 3 wood (i.e. teeing it very low).

I didn't know that this was considered a good thing swing wise.

Plain ol' 2 3/4 wooden tees for me. Also re-use broken tees on par 3s that I find on the boxes. :)

I know for me, when I get too steep I break more tees off the drive

Level it off, and I'm good to go, and go thru very few tees

Western Birch!! Sick colors, quality wood, by far my favorite.

They are the same company. Stinger Tees are made of bamboo and have a thinner profile (side by side the 3 1/4” Pro XL Stinger vs. 3 1/4” Western Birch). Stinger has the Pro XL that has a typical head shape and Competition Stinger which has a very small head (I used to use these but in windy conditions it can be a challenge to balance the ball on them). Western Birch are made from their namesake tree and have a more standard (sturdy) profile.

 

I use the Stinger 3 1/4” Pro in natural. They break, yes, but are biodegradable and inexpensive (buy in bulk).

The biggest cheapest bag of wooden ones you can find on amazon or ebay.

Plastic = no good. Bad for the ecosystem surrounding golf courses, especially when the mower makes them smaller bits of plastic. At least one course in the UK has banned them. I'm also a Western Birch fan. Only minor gripe is that they don't fit into a lot of the slots for tees that are built into carts. Standard Golf Pride 2-3/4 wood tees for the range.

It is my understanding they are coming soon. I don't use a 3 1/4" tee so I haven't been following too closely.
