Posted years ago, but just noticed this thread. Lamont and I came up with a putter, still have his original design sketches! Nothing fancy, but it was exactly what I wanted - old Bullseye shaft and Pingman grip topped it off. Had him craft one for my daughter also. Loved the process, the pics, the discussions - hope he's doing well, great person!

Curious what material that is? Did it look that way when you got it or has it developed a patina?

Sorry, didn't see this sooner. It is 1018 carbon steel with an oil rubbed bronze finish. So it pretty much came looking that way. I'd say there is a bit of a patina now, but not that much different than when it came. I'm pretty careful with keeping it clean - too much rubbing and the finish will start to wear through and then you'll have steel.

Interesting alignment aid, whose idea was that? I don't recall ever seeing something like that on a blade. I would expect that to really frame the ball up well!

That was my idea and then LaMont executed it perfectly.

Ive always putted best using the face/top line to aim versus a line in the flange!

Wondering if Lamont can weigh in on the model and specs on this putter. Picked it up from a friend who got it on a trip to his shop I believe. I pretty much begged my buddy for it and was able to get it only because he couldn't make anything with it that day ?.

Not sure if I ever posted this. This is number 5 of 50 in Lamont's first run of MA-66's. "Tai" treatment with softened bumpers and topline. Carbon steel with NP3 Super Nickel coating.

Forgot about this thread. I posted in the "What Putter did you just buy" thread a month or so ago. This is a SSB Masonboro weld neck that's a carbon (figuratively and literally) copy of the one Kisner used in his 2010 win. Found it on a forum that only talks about putters that LaMont posted about finding in a corner.

Wow, I remember that putter. i still have pics from the TV with the SSB stamping in the back of Kisner’s putter. Still a good guy, but a double bend face balanced guy. Surprised we finally got Kis in that putter. It was the Mylan Classic he won that year.

Will game it for a bit and see how I get along with that long neck but I'm kinda lusting after a flow neck since @1puttTUT posted his. Also have another MannKrafted in the mail as we speak.
