my intentions this year were no new clubs. In reality it has turned into a buying frenzy. Starting with the 3 wood down ending with the 50 degree wedge . Epic Flash driver was safe as well as the fang putter and SM7 SW.

Ok.. time for an update...

PXG 0311T 4-PW - love them, in the bagFujikura Ventus Blue 6x - wanted to try, didn't love, going to get proper fitEpic Forged 4i - wanted to consider a DI with forgiveness, just not as good as my 5WSIM 3H - already sold, staying with 5WMAVRIK Pro 3H - already sold, staying with 5WPXG 0317x Gen2 4H - in the mail, considering taking out the 4i. Being at altitude, you need a perfect strike and launch to keep the 4i up, and playing longer courses, I need an easier 220 club for par 3s.Next up..

Driver fitting - actually the only club in the bag that I wasn't fit for (all of the purchases above came with shafts that I've been fit into repeatedly)Wedges - mine are a few years old, starting to show some wear, but may be able to hold on another year.

A whole new set of clubs. I picked up a Nike Vapor Fly driver for 90 bucks, and I ordered a set of JPX 919 Hot Metal irons. My girlfriend got me a Scotty Newport 2.5 and a new golf bag for my birthday, so I’m sitting pretty right now. I’d love some new hybrids, but I think we’ve spent enough.

Well we are not really locked down anymore, but yesterday I did buy a brand-new Bushnell V5 slope rangefinder. I had some inheritance money I thought the person would have wanted me to enjoy so this is how I spent the money to enjoy it.
