Experience Buying Clubs off of Wish.com?

I was searching online for some new irons and I came across an online marketplace called Wish.com. There are some brand new iron sets from major manufacturers for sale for crazy low prices, which makes me immediately wary of scams. But some quick research about the site seems to show that it's as legitimate as most other online marketplaces - i.e., while there are surely some scammers on there, if the seller has good ratings from other sales, there's a good likelihood they're on the level.

Anyone have personal experience buying clubs off this site? Thanks.

99% of products from that site ship directly from China. So to put it simply, don't buy clubs off of there. Just don't. I've ordered random little things off there such as phone cases and stuff and sometimes they are fine, and others they are basically trash that I paid for. If something as simple as a phone case has a 50-50 shot of being usable, what are the odds that a set of golf clubs are going to be just fine?

Any time someone utters the phrase "crazy low prices" when speaking of golf clubs, you know it's suspect. Those two things do not logically co-exist.

Yeah, I was deeply skeptical too, but I'm always looking for a great deal. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I'll stay far away.

Throwing out an alternative that I'm almost nervous to do because there are great deals on there is Mercari. Alternative to eBay and most of the golf stuff is being sold by other golfers I've noticed. Good luck!

I was looking at an M5 driver on wish, saw that it shipped from china left the website and never went back! The price was too good to begin with, I assumed it was fake and that confirmed it!

Never seen anything remotely close to a "deal" on Mercari. I consider that place a junkyard more than anything. Any decent clubs are overpriced and then there is loads of junk miscategorized because it is a terrible site.

You have to have your eyes wide open, but I have found some deals there from shirts to shoe bags. I appreciate how their system works; you buy the product but don't "release" the funds to the seller until you receive it and it's all good. Granted, I haven't had a bad deal yet so I don't know what happens then.

I could see that, but I feel its like eBay...a great spot to sometimes find deals or AKA people selling things that they dont know the actual worth.
