He’s got 6 bloody good golfers between himself and #1. If he keep racking up wins and top 5 finishes, he should be #1 by September. That said, any one of the guys ahead of him can go on a run too which will hold Bryson from reaching #1. Also, I think part of his game that will hold him back is his putting. It’s too hot and cold.

The difference is that any of the guys might go on a run but none of the guys ahead of him can gain 30yards in distance. The only reason why the likes of Rory, DJ and Koepka were ahead of him last year was because of their distance

Well that's over now. He is going to destroy them all. They have no edge over him. DeChambeau is the one with advantage. Game over for the others.

These Bryson threads are getting old fast. Bryson won because he had his BEST putting week of his career as defined by strokes gained putting. Bryson hitting it miles might help on some of the weaker tour setups but it's a far too early to think he's going to "change the game" because of it.

So BDC couldn't win the last few weeks when DJ, Rory and Brooks were in the fields. BDC wins this week without them in the field and now all of sudden BDC is now unbeatable forever? LMFAO! What a kool-aid drinker you are.

It took the best that BDC has ever played on tour coupled with a choke of the third round leader for him to win against a B-/C+ PGA Tour level field with his A game. The winner of this event last year (Nate Lashley) was more under par and more dominant than BDC was this week. Fact.

When did Rocket Mortgage Classic become a major? People are way too excited about this win. It's like when Cam Champ won an alternate field tournament and everyone was anointing him the next Tiger. Granted BDC is on another level, but he still has a ways to go improving his approach game before he threatens number 1. I do think he has a strong chance to move into the top 3 though.

That doesn’t happen after the 7th shake, it happens when you’ve had too much creatine in your preworkout drink and get explosive diarrhea as your cramped up on the toilet. At this point, there’s a 50/50 chance you realize nobody replaced the toilet paper and you’ll have to go downstairs to get more. God has abandoned you in this moment.

I don't think he truly gets to a dominant level until he figures out how to dial in distance control with his short irons. If you're going to hit it 370 off the tee, even on Tour setups, you're going to have a ton of short irons & wedges in to holes. Every time I've watched him, he bombs it, but can't seem to hit the scoring clubs close enough to capitalize on it. He's #1 in SG from the tee. He's #118 in SG on approach, and #5 in putting. If he improves even to "adequate" in approach shots, he can potentially dominate.
