You would think. Especially with Bryson being the only topic in golf right now. They would want to capitalize off him. People are going to find out with stuff he is using and that could lead to people asking questions and searching. If your website if half rate like it is now. You are going to miss out.

Funny typing this since Bryson won...but there was definitely some inconsistencies with his iron yardage. You overheard him say out loud about his confusion with the distances a few time’s as well as Nick Faldo saying he thinks maybe he should get back to some steel. I wonder how much the graphite vs steel played into that?

Zero.. Do we blame the wedge shaft for Rory's distance control issues? No, so why do we immediately jump to equipment in Bryson?

 

On this aspect Faldo has no clue what he is talking about... He is basing his thoughts on outdated and bad data from his playing days.

Haha. I am as calm as a kitten my friend. Simply saying that in this topic Faldo is no expert and wrong. If he wanted to talk to me about course management and swing I would be all ears. Haha

Fair enough. Faldos comment was more the underline. It was Brysons own words overheard that he was completely dumbfounded by a handful of shots that didn’t hit the expected ? “I hardly hit that Tim!” and shot was 15 yards long. Happened a few time’s. But same thing can happen with steel so who knows. Again, I was just wondering if the shaft type had anything to do with it as he’s constantly tinkering etc. You seem to already know %100 that the shafts had nothing to do with it however ;)

Well, know is maybe a bit strong. But, I would not blame the shaft, at least not first. You could however blame the OL set up of his wedges, his insane distance gains and how fast he did it, or lack of short game in comparison to the rest of his game.

Looks like a white F9 and a Tensei orange - odd cause he plays his driver much shorter than standard. That has to be one heavy clubhead!
