Wallet recommendations

Looking for a new wallet, something on the minimalist side that can carry cash folded in half, not double or triple folded, what’s everyone carrying? Cash covers have caught my eye.

(at my request) my wife got me a Seamus wallet 4-5 years ago. Money clip with leather wallet that easily holds ID & a few cards while still being pretty slim. Expensive but it’s held up great & should hopefully last many more years.

Mitchell leather minimalist front pocket wallet is what you're looking for. I put it in my back pocket, takes on great wear/patina and the money clip secures cash very well.

I am a slim/minimalist wallet junkie. have probably 20 or so.

had the ridge, magpul, imossi, nomatic....

 

my favorite so far is the Trove Swift. been using it the longest. I carry 6 cards, a few bills. you can customize the colors if you want but i bought the all blue.

the two most used cards have a quick pull tab and the rest just slide down in to it. love it. TROVE Swift

I also use the Ridge carbon fiber, been using it for a while now and still looks great and easy access to cards.

The ridge is rock hard. Didn't like that in my pocket. Wore a hole in my front pocket as a matter of fact. And it's not as user friendly pushing up all your cards and sorting.

I have the wallet in the pic and it's the best wallet I've ever had. Seamus still makes them now, but the clip detaches from the leather. I wish they'd make another run of the ones in the pic. I'd buy two just to make sure I can use them for the rest of my life!

 

Edit: Apparently the leather work for the Seamus Wallet was done by Benjamin Bott, who makes all kinds of cool wallets.

Some really good options out there, especially on this thread. My personal favorite recommended to me by someone is the Bellroy slim wallet. I’ve had mine for 7 years or so now and it’s still going strong.

I use a Dango M Series. I need to utilize my CAC card at work as well as an RFID badge to get into buildings. This accomplishes both and provides RFID internals as well. It gets attention every time someone new sees it.

I do not have the add-on multi-tool. I just use the bi-fold version of the wallet.

Same here and I’ll second the ridge. I asked for and received for Father’s Day the titanium on. Got my wallet out of my back pocket and carry about 8 cards total including my license and health care card. And it’s an rfid blocker.

Whatever wallet, RFID is important to have, so your cards can't be scanned by scammers.

Have been on the hunt for the perfect wallet for years. I loved the secrid as mentioned above but it was a little hard to sit on for a full day. Eventually just ended up making my own and have been using it for about 9 months. Holds all my cards, business cards and cash and stays pretty slim.
