Driver help needed

I am currently in the market for a new driver, and I'm looking for something in the low(ish) spin but forgiving category. Current handicap is a 4.1, and iron play is the strongest part of my game. I am finding lately though that I have absolutely no confidence off of the tee. Does the G410 range hold up against the current offerings Callaway, Taylormade, etc..., or should I be looking elsewhere. I currently have a Mavrik Sub Zero, and prior to that had a TS3, which I hit pretty well with the exception of the high spinner that would cost me a few yards. Any insight and opinions are greatly appreciated.

Coming from an Epic SZ with ACCRA TZ6, and in a similar boat to you with a handicap that is currently floating between 5-6 but with my biggest weakness being fairways hit and driver confidence, I decided to go for a fitting and highly recommend you doing the same, as you never know what might fit you best. I told the fitter I wanted to focus on the more "forgiving" heads (although we did try the Mavrik SZ and regular SIM), and found that the combo of G410 Plus and Ventus Blue were giving me similar distances to my SZ but with a much better dispersion. Tried the Ventus blue in my own SZ head as well, which did improve things a bit (man, that shaft just allows you to find the center of the face!), but the G410 combo was still better yet from a dispersion standpoint. Basically, found exactly what I was hoping for, which was a more forgiving head but similar launch conditions. I would highly recommend you do the same, and be sure to try the regular G410!

I am in the camp of the PXG Proto X. I am a club ho like no other and I haven’t even thought about another driver since purchasing the Proto X. I have owned most of the pre-2020 drivers and nothing comes close for me. Looks, sound, feel, low spin and high ball speed make it the perfect driver for me.
