iPad/Tablet cart mount?

I'm familiar with the mounts like DesertFox/Frogger for your phone, but does anybody use a tablet? And if so, how have you mounted it?

I use the 18birdies app but I hate 1) pulling out my phone for golf and inevitably answering messages, etc 2) Having to unlock it every shot for yardages then again to log the score, 3) having a 50% battery by 10am, and lastly

So I'm considering keeping my phone in the bag and using my rarely used iPod as my new method. Figured I could use a cup holder mount off amazon and just keep it on the whole round, but thought I'd see what the smarter people think and/or have come up with.

Thats the exact one I have in my Amazon cart at the moment. I think it'd work well and seems sturdy enough. Just curious if anybody has done anything similar and the experiences in it. I think at this point for $20 its at least worth a try.

Most courses give you a card and pencil for free. No battery. No charger. There is room on the card to write the 4 critical trackers (score, GIR, FW and putts). If you're good, there is not too much writing.

Plug those into a spreadsheet or app when you get home. Takes me 2 minutes tops.

 

Now I realize, some people need to supplement their complicated coffee drink with a complicated scoring method - I know and understand, it's a lifestyle thing. To each his own.

Just remember, a ball flies in from an adjacent fairway and hits your device - not good.

If it hits a paper card. No damage done.
