+1/N Fujikura Atmos Blue 6s, Bomb squad and Very impressed on Miss hits they’re not too far off line and they still go quite far. Here’s a couple shots of the face trying to find the middle during my practice round yesterday. Had to Tee the ball lower then I thought, But I would rather do that than have it way up, This produced either a nice little cut or just a straight line shot good Apex good distance incredible club. Can also draw if needed

I picked mine up on Friday from Impact Precision Golf in Spring Texas. Only 1 round in but much preferred to the Mavrik SZ that I had. The left miss was gone. I really like the shape and as mentioned in a prior post somewhat of a combo of both the reg and SZ. Mine has the white dot, TA serial and the adaptar is the -1. 14 and 2 weights but Trevor is getting the other weights for me. Not sure that i would even want to change even the loft at this point. I hit mine with my pro white yesterday. Really like that combo. I haven’t noticed any remarkable distance gains but it feels and sounds miles better than my 410+.

I am intrigued by this head. I have the standard Mav 9* turned down to 8*. I hit it great. Love the sound/feel. The only only only tiny complaint I have is that it just visually looks upright, like the toe is sitting way up at address. Is the triple D flatter looking at address? I'm thinking the triple D and playing it at 9* would be fun. I know you all are a bunch of enablers. Should I just keep my standard Mav since I have no issues with the performance?

Way flatter.... like 3-4 degrees. I think if you played in "D" it would be about 2 degrees flatter than standard head. It looks pretty awesome if you are into Callaway heads IMO.

I typically don't play Callaway drivers, but I've got this one in play. I'm a 7 index, and I'm not sure it's longer than other drivers, but it is pretty straight and forgiving. Sound, length, forgiveness. I'd strongly recommend one. I play a 10.5 head. Have trouble spinning up the low spin heads.

I'm sure it's been answered in this thread so forgive me. Those of you that have played the retail sz head are you using same or more or less loft in the diamond head?

Callaway made the Mav head upright as it helps prevent the slice/right miss. I get if you want to make the Max head draw bias but i don't get the standard head. The more i read about the Mav triple the more i want to grab a head and match it up with my new shaft (ALDILA RIPX). Together it would be virtually impossible to see the left side of the golf course.

Im playing with mine for the first time this coming weekend and have only hit balls with it once at about 70% swing capacity so excited to see what this thing does. Are you saying your DDD is not working well for you, M2D?

It’s all me. Timing mostly due to the knee issues. Don’t fully trust my knee yet so I’m off with my body syncing up is all. Just wanted to let J13 the left is never out of play. LOL

What are you guys doing as far as your weight configurations? Mine came with 2 8g weights, spec sticker said head was 195.4g. Original mav sub zero was 196, but came with a 14g and 2g weight in it? What combinations are you guys liking with your weights??

Mine came with the 2 and 14 and came in around 200g (a little under).

Same 2-14 just Under 200g. I would like to try different but it’s so good right now. Hands down the best driver ive owned in years. Went from less then 50% fairways found and since ??? I’ve been hitting over 70%.

I'm finding it more neutral than my standard Mavrik and hitting more fairways as a result. It goes left on bad swings. But, my draws don't seem as drastic. Mine came with a 14/5 weight combo. But, I ordered it at 44.5" hoping for more weight.

Interesting that some have spec stickers on theirs. Seems to be those that ordered from places like JD's Clubs and other fitters. Mine came from Fairway Golf USA and was built by Callaway.

Just tried a 10g in the back and a 6g in the front and the ball def came out lower and seemed to run. Only on the range so I can’t really tell distance but I was still close to or at my normal carry distances at the range but it ran when landing. Playing Tuesday so I’ll find out. I like the lower launch as the place we are playing is really windy and why I was trying to get something lower than my normal high ball flight.

Yeah I ordered head only and it came with 8g/8g. I have a 14g and a few 2g laying around. I will try those combos out and see if there is much difference in ball flight and spin. I did notice that the sound/feel was pretty different than my Mavrik Sub zero.

Just picked one up direct from Callaway. I got a 9 degree, but may well need a 10.5. Might be looking for a trade down the road and the thing hasn't shipped yet. Lol.

Mine is Out ForDelivery from JD's. Do the weights have numbers on them or am I going to have to see if I can feel a difference?

They have numbers on them. Mine came with 14g and 2 gram weights. I have the 14g up front.

Mine has 2 and 14. I'll def be playing heavy in the back. The look at address alone is worth the upgrade for me. Looks like a proper 'not too upright' driver compared to my standard Mav head.

Also, I'm sure it's likely been mentioned but the TripleD looks to have the 'Cyclone" aero shape that the Standard Mav has and the Standar SZ does not. Whether it works or not, I don't know, but cool to see this has "all the technology" of the Mavrik line in one.

Didn’t think the Epic Flash Triple Diamond would make it out of my bag...but it did... I want to say it is a bit longer and even more forgiving... found it to be a little more neutral, not as fade biased as my EFTD..... going to throw some hot melt in the toe when I get the chance.

So I have a weight kit I purchased and put a 10g in the back and a 6g in the front. Still gives enough forgiveness and I can still elevate it enough but the ball flattens out nicely and giving plenty of roll. Playing a very tight and windy course tomorrow and taking the Mavrik TD. I’ll report back after the round. Lots of OB as this course runs all through vineyards so I have to be on my game to keep it in play.
