Best shorts above the knee

Just wanted to recommend Express Performance shorts which I've found to be really nice for less than $50 - right now they're on sale for $35 either the 9" or 10" shorts. (Can't post links yet but just google Express Performance shorts)

I agree. Really hoped we would get one this year. Heard the CFO of PGASS on PGA radio and he said they wanted to buy a lot of Toys R Us buildings as they are the perfect size and usually in good locations for them. Had really hoped we had gotten one here in the best part of town but Electronic Express went in the building instead.

Looking through their shorts(a little loud for my taste), I don’t see any shorts with less than a 10.5” inseam. Those are only going above the knee for people who are at least 6’ and taller.

Yes, I thought off that after my post, I'am 6'1" so the shorts do come to just above my knee. Agree that some of the colors are a bit 'loud' but I went with the 1x dark green and 1x navy.

I’m 6’ with longer legs so 10.5” inseam shorts hit right above the knee for me and the Puma Jackpots are fantastic.

There's one in Jan/Feb and then another about 6 months later.  So the next one should be in August maybe.  The sale starts at ~25% off and gradually over the next month increases to up to 50-70% off, but the longer you wait the greater chance of not having your size.  I can usually get what I want at around the 40% off range.

Bonobos are solid. And for a little more budget friendly, the PGA brand from PGATSS have 7" inseam options that are decent for the price.

So glad I found this thread... why are all shorts so darn long?!? I bought a bunch of Adidas shorts a few years ago on sale without trying on and they might as well be 2/3's pants...

My last 3 or 4 pairs of shorts came from PGASS. Last pair I bought a few weeks back have a 7” inseam they are perfect.

All in Motion Target golf shorts are my new favorites. 

 

I’ve typically worn UA, tried Travis Mathew, and Peter Millar. The Target ones are well made and on the shorter side, and for $28 you can’t really beat it. Definitely a slim fit short.

Haven't tried the PGATSS brand - Bonobos are solid.

all i can find are 9" inseam online.  Although I do own a pair that I like that are shorter inseam just cant find them anymore

I just got a pair of the Linksoul Boardwalker shorts. They were expensive but feel like they will last. They're made out of DriFit material so I've been digging them with all of the pop up showers that have been going on in my area. If only I could afford some of their clubs...

These are great value and great shorts. They come in 7" and 9" inseams too. Amazons Goodthreads brand has a tech fabric model that comes in 5",7" and 9" inseams I think
