JBrunk please send me any of bags 2-3-4 and I will put them to good use while your back 9 and golf game will improve greatly.

Trust me, as Wrx’er who know me I wet down the same path many many times! =)

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Thanks Benny, and I would except my wife insists I keep 4 sets. Some of us are just meant to suffer in this life.

What’s in the bag for JJMMAGOO

Been a long time since i have upgraded my bag. For 16 years I have played some good golf and some questionable golf with the Taylormade RAC CB's. They have played on some of the finest golf courses and I only hope my new equipment will continue the trend.

First the bag. Taylormade Flextech carry bag.

e4490b73-85bf-43ce-89c0-a79991dd92f6.jpegDriver: Taylormade M4 10.5 Tour head.

unnamed.jpg

unnamed-1.jpgThe shaft is the Project X "Evenflow Blue" 6.0 70g shaft

unnamed-3.jpeg3 Wood: Taylormade M1HL 17'

unnamed-5.jpegShaft paired with the 3 wood is the Mitsubishi Diamana Blue board stiff 80g

unnamed-4.jpeg

Utility Club: Adams 19' super hybrid. Use this if the 3 wood is not behaving.

unnamed-6.jpegPaired with the Mitsubishi Fubuki Shaft

unnamed-8.jpegIrons: Brand new in the bag. Simply love them.

Srixon 785 4 iron through PW

unnamed-9.jpegThis iron is simply the best i have ever used. I think a lot of it has to do with the shaft. First time ever trying something different. The Project X LZ 6.0 shaft is better than i could imagine.

unnamed-10.jpegMy wedges are going to be in a transition soon but for now I am playing the Bridgestone J40 52' through 60' degree.

unnamed-11.jpegThe shaft i use with these are the TT Spinner shafts. Dont love them don't hate them.

unnamed-12.jpeg

I have just placed an order for the Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges. Looking forward to having them in the bag. I have ordered these wedges with the Project X LZ shafts to match with my Irons. Hopefully a seamless transition.

Putter is a Scotty Cameron 2017 Fast-Back with 34 inch shaft and a Winn Grip I have been using Scottys for a long time. I won this and at first was going to trade it in but used it one round and hasn't left the bag. I like it that much!

unnamed-7.jpegThe putter cover is something I am proud of and I use it in honor of my son who is on the ASD/Autism spectrum. He is high functioning soon to be freshman in High School who has taken golf lessons in the past and is now interested in the game again. Cannot wait to have him with me on some golf trips like my father did for me.

unnamed.jpegDidnt mention my grips as I ordered the irons with the Golf Pride MCC plus 3 wraps. I also replace my own grips and have experimented in the past. I like these grips alot. I am also using the MCC align in my 3 wood and the MCC non taper in my utility and wedges. I am using the GP tour wrap which is colored Blue which matches the Evenflow Blue shaft perfectly. Completely by accident mind you. I have been using Bridgestone, Srixon and Pro-v1X the last few rounds. So far the Bridgestone B330 and BRx balls are the farthest and softest. The Srixon will be played some more before I decide on what to settle in on.

Cobra F8+ set at 9.5 Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 60X shaft at 44.75”. I love the look at address. Performs great for me.

Fairway woods:

Cobra F9 Tour set at 14.5 Mitsubishi Diamana 70X shaft at 43”. Great off the tee and fairway. Love the smaller profile head and the rails.

Cobra F8+ set at 17.5 same shaft as the 3 wood at 42.5”. Again, love the smaller profile and the rails. Almost like an oversized hybrid.

Irons:

Bridgestone J15 CB’s 4-PW KBS C-Taper 130X 1/4” over standard length. Lofts are 4* apart starting with 4 iron @ 22* thru PW @ 46*. 1* upright lie angle for all irons and wedges. My favorite irons I’ve played. Love the profile, feel is awesome, workability, and that little extra forgiveness with the cavity back. I get consistent trajectory with the C-Taper shafts.

Wedges:

Callaway Mack Daddy Forged 50, 54, 60. KBS C-Taper 130X in the 50 and KBS C-Taper 125S+ in the 54 & 60. Love everything about these wedges, the head shape, feel and spin.

Putter:

Odyssey O-Works 7s 35”.

Ball:

Bridgestone 2020 Tour B XS. (Also testing the Maxfli Tour X ball).

Grips:

Golf Pride MCC Black standard on all clubs.

Bag:

Bridgestone Lite carry bag. Only weighs about 4 lbs.

My set was set at stronger lofts due to my abnormally high ball flight. PW goes about 120-125 and the 48 slides in perfect for that perfect 110-115 yarder. I have always bagged the standard 3-pw, followed by the traditional 56* and 60* setup since the 90’s. With the addition of this “gapper” my yardages are now dialed in. Might not work for some, but def works for me.

I have always loved smaller head drivers and usually bagged a 983k x100 combo. Had tried all the minis but they went too high....not a problem any more the the TaylorMade Original One Mini. Tried a few graphite but just didn't feel as good as my trusty x100. Playing at 9.5*- 42.75'', nice mid trajectory with low spin.

I don't play woods, never hit them well, surely never better than my driver. I'm plenty long with my 2 iron so it's a great tee club. Just don't find myself needing to go for anything "260 out"...the reward just isn't there for the risk...

I've had these for 10 years. The 2 iron has been bent down to 15 degrees and then back to 18 a few times. Few different shafts too but I've settled into the C Tapers a few seasons ago and have been happy.

20200720-125917.jpg

20200720-125927.jpg

I've never been the biggest 5 iron fan, probably because the Flu Hi 4 is so easy to hit....bought a z765 head on a whim to try a V sole and it's been great since.

20200720-130025.jpg

20200720-130032.jpg

Playing 6-PW of the Wilson FG62...these are just butter. Hard stepped S300

20200720-130114.jpg

Wedges, you know em, you love em. Wanted a low bounce 56 and a high bounce 62, so I bent a 58 and a 60, boom just want I need.

20200720-130144.jpg

Putter - Scotty Newport

I like 320-330g heads so This should be in the bag a long time since everything new is a lot heavier. I'll never not use a P2 Aware, just feels perfect in the hands.

Love it and love Juniper. Some old school with new school looks. Only advice is your bag is built backwards. Unless you are using a cart your irons will bang up your shafts. They get chipped and scratched and I actually knew someone who lost a head from the damage he had but mostly rode it too.

A NH State AM winner taught me this years ago and helps the bag flow when carrying and makes less noise as well. =)

48 years old, retired US Air Force maintainer so had to switch to graphite in the irons, made a huge difference in my game. Not a long hitter but make up for it with accuracy and a decent short game and flat stick. Experimented with lighter shafts in the driver and five wood which has helped me pick up some much needed loft and carry. Not touching the four wood, it's a fairway finder when everything else goes out the window. My wedge set up may seem strange but lob wedges are my kryptonite it's not that I can't hit them I tend to use them at the wrong time. I use the Vokey for more shot pitches off the fairway and the Glide 3 for the rough which can get pretty thick here. All lofts and lies are standard except for my gap wedge bent to 50 from the stock 48. Play the driver, five wood and hybrid at the flat lie setting which helps with my left miss. The two most special things in my bad are the Torry Pines head covers I have on the driver and putter. Played their twice on vacation. Amazing track and it's hard to believe its a city course it's so perfect. Thanks for viewing.Driver: Titleist TS1 (10.5 degrees, set to B4 +1.5 deg loft, lie -.75 deg flat)

Thanks man . I’m very happy to say it’s the only one I own besides my rusty old original Newport . I am very fortunate to have been trusted with its keeping. For that reason it holds more sentimental value than anything for me. The putter hoarding is down to this from a high of 34 at once. And Since rebuilding my stroke around it last winter , I’ve won once this summer and hope to win again Saturday. Most solid bag of sticks I’ve ever had.
