How does 130 Rogue White 60x/60TX compare to the Copperhead 60TX? The Copperhead is one of my all time favorite shafts. Thanks.

I had the Copper head TX before the rogue white tx.

Copper head was a hard hooking machine for me. I really had to really fight and swing really smooth just to keep it in play. Just didn't get along with it.

With the White I can swing as hard as I want. Provided it's not an over the top closed club face swing and not worry about hard left. I also don't loose many high right. I've never been this accurate with the driver. ( Hope this wasn't the kiss of death).

If you are a smooth swinger the Copper head is a great shaft. If you have a hard transition it is not ideal from what I've seen.

The Copperhead profile just really fits me, I guess. I used it last season in an LTD Pro and I never really saw much in the way of hooks. I’d say I have a moderate tempo. I’ve got one coming in for my Triple diamond heads. It paired up well with The LTD Pro, which is a very fade biased head, so I’m hoping it will be the same with the Triple Diamonds, since they are pretty fade biased as well. I did just hit the 130 White 60x and felt it was a very good shaft as well- Copperhead had maybe a touch more feel for me.

I tried the Smoke Black 60S for a little bit. Prior to that I gamed the HZRDUS Yellow. For me I couldn’t control the Smoke Black, the dispersion was much larger that HZRDUS Yellow and the Rogue White is even better than both of those. Rogue White feels much smoother too. I continue to game the Rogue White and couldn’t be more pleased.

Thanks @jas904 that's been my experience with the Smoke as well. Some days I'm striping it, most days can't control it...granted my swing needs work, but just could never "feel" the shaft.
I was able to try a Mavrik with the Rogue White on it yesterday for like three swings, and boy it felt worlds different. Same 60S, but it felt a lot smoother and livelier. Smoke usually feels dead to me.

Good feedback. I ordered my Mav SZ with the Rogue White 70X but never gamed it since I have a GD AD-IZ 7X and a GD AD-TP 7X. Both of those are untipped playing at 44.75”. I can game either, but at times the TP can launch a little low, and the IZ can be a little high. Hit the Rogue on the range yesterday and it seems like it might be a happy medium between the two. I was very pleased with the flight. But it was stock 45.5” so it felt “different”. Cut it down to 44.75” tonight and will take it to the range tomorrow to see if it can be a gamer.

This is almost definitely a dumb question, but the stock 130 white in the Mavrik series is the real deal shaft, correct?

Yes. There is only one version of the shaft available. There is a tour only shaft too. Stiffer, lower launch and spin.

Any updates from Rogue White users?

Mine is still firmly planted in the bag.  I'm looking at heads for next year but there is a strong possibility that I stay with this shaft.  For me, it's mid launch, low spin along with super smooth feel.

Anyone who plays the rogue white regular x (not tx) have a driving iron shaft suggestion? I love the feel of the rogue white in my fairway wood (80x) and want to throw something similar in my driving iron.

Also if I'm in 80x for my 3 wood would anyone suggest 60x or 70x in a driver - might want to play around with that as well 🙂

Currently gaming the 130 White 60g TX. It is almost impossible for me to turn over...I can do it but it takes a lot of work. My swing speed is about 110mph with a moderate tempo.

Anyone playing this shaft in a Stiff flex with similar swing speed and tempo? Are you able to turn it over?

I am wondering if my tempo is not letting me load the shaft correctly.

Really? I find this shaft easy to work the ball either direction without much effort. How much did you tip the shaft?

I play it in stiff with the same swing speed.  I couldn’t turn it over at 45.5”, and I was playing a fade cough... slice ....cough. I cut down to 44.5. Easier to control But still a fade. I’ve never been able to turn over this shaft, and I can turn over a stiff blueboard

I bought a Mavrik Sub Zero from Callaway pre-owned with this shaft in X flex and I'm so impressed. This is the first time I've ever had a driver that just goes where I point it. My misses are smaller than I've ever had and I can't wait to see how it improves my game.

Had the 60s in my Epic Flash for a while and really liked it, but felt like i had to kind of wait on it during transition, like if I didn’t swing nice and easy it would go a little left on me.
Recently switched to a 60x and that issue is gone, i can pretty much go after it as hard as i want. First time in a while im not afraid of it going left.

Trajectory was about the same for me with both shafts, dispersion is better with the X stiff.

Great shaft for under $100.

I was surprised to find out that the tour version of the Rogue White is going for like $120 on eBay.  I think I paid over $400 for it back when it was a hot commodity haha.  I made the mistake of going 60TX without giving much thought to the higher balance point.  Kind of thinking about getting a 70 or 80TX for a song to try it again.  Tried the stock 70X this past year and did not care for the feel of it at all.  Felt a lot looser than I remember the tour version feeling.  Anyone still rocking the TX version?

Got the 60x with my Mavrik and found it to be VEY stable, reliable and long.  I moved on from the Mav head but kept the shaft in case I want to try it in something else.  I will say, I feel like it may play softer than its labeled flex.  Had the 70x in a 3w, too and it seemed to be a good fit as well.  I am currently playing the RDX blue in the driver in a 60g 6.0 flex and it feel a lot like the Rogue White IMO at 60x.

I just pounced on one of these $120 deals on eBay.  Unreal for a shaft that was so premium just a couple years ago.  I got it in 60tx and after adding some weight (about 6 grams) to the head (TSi3) I could not be happier.  You can go smooth with it or hard and it stands up to it without feeling "too much" on smoother swings.

Low spin, high launch, very consistent so far for me, big fan.
