First round of the year....BROKE PAR....69 (-1)! first time I've ever broken par in my 25yrs of playing. these past couple of years my game has really improved. despite the high winds yesterday, ball striking was on point and the putter was rolling.

That's awesome

I'm on other end, just shot 72 w/ triple on 18.... I've never been so bummed with such a good score for me, especially since I've never broken 70.

Not usually my style, but I threw a couple clubs at the bag that hole

Shot an 84 to open my metro tourney. My course hc is 86, so I beat it by 2, and it is the lowest tournament score I have posted to date. Had 9 gir and 9 pars, but the 3 doubles I had brought the score up. Not that I am complaining, I couldn't be happier. But the leader in my flight shot a 76...

I shot 74. -1 on the front. Lowest 9 hole score ever for me.

I did this with a driver that went 200 yards far because of duck hook issues. I just aimed right, way right. My short game was amazing. 80% scrambling and 28 putts haha.

Again I have proven to myself, that while driving will make my life easier, it's just one part of the puzzle and short game will eventually let me score low more often than not.

Played the Scratch Game on Saturday. Shot 74 (+2). I was -2 under par with a double with 6 holes left to go at one point. But the heat was oppressive and I was tired and then went bogey-par-bogey-double before going birdie-par. I didn't drive it well, but feel fine about my swing. Biggest issues are SW play, putting from 3-10 feet and endurance in this damn heat.

Shot an 83 for day 2 of my metro. Easier course but I couldn't get any momentum going on the back. Had 1 par and 8 bogies on the back. 7 Gir, 7 pars for the round.

Shot 71 today with an eagle on 18 (446 yard par 5 sharp dogleg left around a lake). Stinger driver down right center of fairway. Wind over right shoulder so I drew a 3h from 200 over the lake to 35' or so and made the putt. First eagle on that hole. Six of my last 8 rounds have been under par. Nice to play this consistently well.

kicking this back up since it may have died?

yesterday i had one of the oddest rounds of golf i've played in quite some time. played Flanders Valley GC in Flanders, NJ; Gold/Red Courses, back tees (6,770; 72.6/129).

- 16/18 GIRs

- 7/14 FIRs

- 4 birdies / 3 bogeys

- 100% scrambling

- 100% sand saves

- 34 putts

- shot -1, 71.

i putted well enough to suck. 3, three-putts on holes i hit in reg. lipped 3 other putts for birdies.

Shot a 97 yesterday. First time out for the year on a course I have never played with 3 or 4 really bad blow up holes. Hit it off the tee generally well. 100 yards and in was acceptable but was really struggling to get anything near the green between 100 and 200 yards out. Horrendous iron shots, thins, fats, shanks. But I like how my swing if coming around for my driver, woods and wedges. Should break 90 this year

Played in our Men's League Saturday in the Individual Quota - shot 39 (6 Pars, 1 Birdie, 1 bogey, 1 Triple) Ouch! shot 41 on the back. I let that Triple take me out of my rhythm. I feel like 80 was the highest score I could of shot that day. Felt like I was striking the ball so well. A few lip outs and that triple really cost me.

Last round played was our company 9 hole tuesday and 9 hole mens league wednesday. 38-38 respectively. First one was 2 birdies with 4 bogies. Second round as 3 bogies and 1 birdie. Just gotta get rid of the bogies.

Played for the first time in 3 years. Short, but manicured par 3 with some 4s mixed in that has long grass and trouble along most holes. Ended up firing a +2. I hit 5/9 greens and had 16 putts. The most frustrating part is that I had two birdies and one double bogey. The double bogey was due to a three putt from six feet out...

What's cool is I was gaming all new clubs. I got to hit my new srixon fairway 3w+ w/ a tensei ck pro orange. that thing keeps the ball low and gets it done. I can't believe the roll out I was getting in semi wet conditions. Such a fun club to hit off the tee!
