I think the problem is they don't have anyone designed the drivers outside of R&D. That's the problem. I doubt they spend much though on R&D outside the ball which is great.

Looking at this again and just wondering. I have no idea who the guy in the picture is; does he play the hzrdus red or is that a "made for" stock shaft that is built to match the club?

Nice looking driver. Some harsh comments about the sole but are there any soles out there that look really good?

This could be the most un-WRX thing to say. I could care less what the bottom of the driver looks like. Look from the top matters some, but for me, all that really matters is performance. I'll continue to test as much as I can get my hands on and when I find something that beats out the performance of my gamer then I'll buy it, even if the sole design is "ugly".

Sole looks fine to me, certainly a damn sight better than my M2. Not that I care, only address matters regarding looks. I don't even put headcovers on while playing so see the clubs all the time. Nice looking club overall and a great brand.

looking face. That’s a tour issue driver that is pictured. If you compare the current Srixon driver with a tour issue one you will see the tour issue driver is not nearly as deep of a face. It looks like it’s been flattened compared to the standard driver head. Look for the one that hits the shelves to be significantly deeper.

I agree. Sole looks perfectly fine to me. And I bet it will look even better in person. Srixon keep it classy.

I wouldn't say it's the best or worst looking driver on the sole I've ever seen. While I love Srixon I have to agree with the comments that shop appeal is lacking. It really is sad to say that because Srixon is probably the most underrated brand in the industry IMO. I just hope the new irons look amazing because if they don't then this whole release could end up being a flop.
