Yes. The forged are going to take the distance players category by storm. The T’s are very subtle but improved. The picture above has custom blue paint the retail is black. They are also 40% more stable than the 919t heads.

Thanks for taking the time to post. As a former 919T user and current MMC user, I am quietly excited to see these now. I love my Vokey SM7s but a "mind blowing wedge" will definitely get my attention.

Former 919 Tour user and think those were better looking than the 921. Loved the look of the 919s so much I broke my Titleist allegiance to use a set for a summer. Thought they were just missing a bit of forgiveness when compared to AP2 and T100 otherwise I really liked them. Have zero interest in buying the 921s after seeing them. New TM irons are more tempting to test out.

Rehash from 20 days ago, this is a blog my friend this is what we do. And yes they are a small market but so is automobile manufacturer Ferrari. Pretty nice product for a small market. They do not pay Pros as much we all know this in Mizuno but the realistic approach in marketing has changed a bit. The model is Has evolved and is much different than it was even 3 yrs ago, if they can reach out to more “recreational golfers” who actually have to pay for equipment, the shareholders will win. MIzzy has developed this product and are on to something, the 919 line has been a huge success. Market share is a loosely shared term by definition, the fact is Dicks doesn’t sell Mizzy irons in most cases, so the market share is still being controlled by the big names, which is perfectly fine. But Mizuno has captured a increase market share with the 919 line and probably hoping the new 921 line will continue the growth.

 

the bottom line is Mizuno probably will never be the Goliath golf supplier in the US but larger than expected growth rates with a great product will not hurt either.

Quigley, please describe the top line, heel to toe and sole of the forged. How does it compare to the 900 and 919?

I know the offset is less on the forged than previous. The tours looks to be the same. But to me the top line looked better.

Just a guess, I would expect the Tour to continue with DG 120 as stock shaft. Forged could be tricky; 919F got DG 105 while the 900F got PX LZ. For my sake, I hope the Forged get Modus 120.

Lots of anticipation for these, but ultimately it turned out that the real killer was in the room the whole time, 919 Tour.

Modus 120 is my shaft as well, one can only hope. Imo the stock DG 105 shaft in the 919 Forged was an awful move.

The blue paint detracts from an otherwise clean look. I think we’ll see black as the main paint color if the 921F cavity look carries through the line. The 921T looks like a gentle massaging of the 919T.

I really hope that black (or chrome?) line in the middle was custom painted too. Just destroys the clean look the 900's and 919's had. They were the best satin finish players clubs out there imo. Not sure what they're thinking with that
