My son bought a set back a bit ago when they had mil/First Resp. deal and they came in a few weeks ago - I thought they were really nice and looked great. I hit his 7 iron and it felt excellent. I really liked them.

I thought it was best bang for the buck out there by a long shot- He is still getting back into the game and this is a really nice set-

Well, I've tried my set (with Mitsubishi) on the monitor (decent results) on the range (OK results) and on course (terrible results).

They are just too light.

At least I got them cheap via the PXG eBay store and have already flipped them for what I paid.

I'm actually surprised how tight they look at setup.

Have about 15 rounds on mine and each round I have several memorable shots. 2 years with P790’s and these blow away those with consistency in spin and distance control.

I play a money game each week at the same course and have my distances down to darn near exact yardage. Could not ever do that with the 790’s.

One of my buddies switched from 0211’s to Gen2’s and his iron game got worse. Same shaft by the way.

The 0211’s for a 10 capper (trending down due to these) are really good. Solid feel and so forgiving. Shot 77, 78, 76 for the last three weeks. That’s saying something when playing for good money. Best purchase in a long time.

After 10 rounds and 3 range sessions I up sending these back on 7/20. Wish they would have worked out but even with the lead tape the inconsistency was too much never mind having to modify brand new clubs. I never did have them checked to see if the lie and lofts were adjusted as I requested. As stated previously I am currently at a 14 index but have hit clubs that are supposedly closer to the players category better than these. First round back with my old set was an 82 with 3 birdies. Oh well, I gave them a fair try.

For peoples willing to give 0211 a try, please check your swing weight. Do I wish that PXG was able to build my club to my specs, yes but most of the set they built don't have the correct swing weight. I have to add a lot of lead tape to bring it to D2, it transform from can't hit it, send it back to something awesome.

I ordered a set of PXG 0211 at 1/2 inch over and 2 degrees upright with the TT Elevate tour in stiff. My normal ball flight with my mizzy JPX 900 forged, same specs except with TT

XP 105 shafts is a draw when hitting it well. I received my PXGs on Friday- less than a week from order which shocked me. Hammered a couple of buckets today and played a “practice” 18 where I was basically just hitting multiple iron shots from different distances. I really love the look of the PXG’s and they feel great. Problem was I never could find that draw, and my misses were all a little to the right.

coming fro a 105 shaft, to the TT Elevate tour at 120ish has me concerned. The shaft felt a bit heavy to me. I did hit a few exceptional shots, but felt like I really had to work for it.

i did nit do the in person fitting as it was too far from my house, called the fitter and he recommended these shafts. Not too sure of swing speed, it 7 iron is 165, 50 years old, a little quick with tempo. I did notice that my body felt today’s swings quite a bit. Wondering if these shafts are too much for me.........thinking so. I’ll play a few rounds before I decide. I’ve hit the TTE’s in 95 on Apex and felt a bit light.

I do dig these irons, looking for thoughts or personal experiences with their other shaft options.

thanks

I similarly like the XP 105 shafts, but when deciding between the Elevate Tour and Elevate 95 (what is available from PXG), I went with the Elevate 95. I am very pleased with them, and I have been playing them for a while in my XF irons (and previously in 0211). There is of course the Elevate 105, but PXG doesn’t offer them for whatever reason. As mentioned, could be a lie angle thing for you, but very possibly the heavier shaft playing into it.

You do have 30 days to return or get re-shafted with PXG, so if you are within that, maybe try a different shaft. I think PXG offers the Modus Tour 105 in that 105g range, albeit at an up-charge. But I can really vouch, that once you get used to the Elevate 95, they really do not feel light. Great shafts, and very easy on the joints. Good luck.

Agree. Just hit the 6-iron (MMT 70R) at the range side-by-side with my 0311 Gen 1 (with SF 95 stiff) & 0211 came up short. Do not like the longer blade length of the 0211 either. Need to play a round with them next.

Finally received my set 4-GW. + 1/2” , standard lie, +2 wraps. Elevate 95r shafts. Hit range twice and playing 9 tomorrow in league. So far, these have a ton of potential. They are towering and easy to hit. Not sure on carry distances, think they are going to be 165 carry 7 iron. Dispersion front to back seems pretty tight but haven’t hit off grass yet. Def have more height but can easily hit left/right/high/low. Irons appear to have more than enough spin. Impressed with workability, ball speed and height.

Looking forward playing these. 1st go into regular flex in irons. Have nice long swing and slower tempo so should fit me well. I am also really enjoying the weight difference. Much easier to swing than my old set. MP18 mb dgs300.

Ok, I have decided that the TTE 120 is too much shaft for me at this point. Still leaving the ball to the right, and honestly a little fatigued/sore after two buckets, Not normal for me. I called PXG and talked with the online fitter, recommendations were TTE 95, Modus 105, and taper lights. I currently play TT XP 105, which feel pretty good. Honestly if they had the TTE in 105, I’d jump on that with no upcharge. Kinda disappointed in the limited stock choices. Probably going to go with the Modus 105’s - reviews are solid, people seem to like them.

Funny thing, when I went to PXG site, noticed gen 3’s dropped a little in price. Tempted, but still 3 times the cost of the 0211’s. I do like the 0211, I think with the right shaft I’d be more than happy.

Has anyone got an 0211 L and bent it 2* weak to 62*? How was it? I ordered one yesterday to play around w/ on the range/practice area and maybe work its way in the bag. The idea of a high bounce lob wedge at 62* w/ tech packed forgiveness is extremely interesting. It may not work out at all, but it will certainly be entertaining!

Yep, did the same with the GP Tour Velvet, which was no up-charge on my Gen2 order. You can also ask to have the PXG grips included loose in the box, and then install your own preferred grips (either keeping the PXG grips in reserve, or selling them).

That all sounds about right. Would not have gone wrong going with the Elevate 95 IMO, but can't complain about going with the Modus Tour 105. A couple of years ago, that would have definitely been my choice between those two (three frankly, with the CTL in the mix), but now, the Elevate would probably prevail for its vibration dampening. The CTL are good shafts, but can be tough over the course of a round, so I don't think you would have been much better off compared to the Elevate Tour. Let us know how it goes once you receive them.

A few more rounds with mine and I can't be happier. Love everything about them, they look right, they feel right, and they just produce really good shots. Best combination of looks, forgiveness, and feel I have ever had.
