I'm 99.9% sure I will only wear...TRUE golf shoes...is there anything else even worth chatting about

Recommended Posts

Not sure there is a better shoe to walk/play in...just one person's opinion, but these check the following boxes:

very minimal heel dropVERY comfortableKeep the feet dryLet the feet breathThey hold up to A LOT of swings (I'm kind of a range rat:)I am super excited to join the PREORDER for the TRUE OG Feel, but before I submit order/payment...is there something out there (spikeless) that I am overlooking.

I am a fan after my first try of True Links, I got the Original. I dont mind the thin, low drop, but I have placed a thicker insole and I reckon that hit the sweet spot for me.

Then i recently bought TL-01, sent them back, hated them, just didnt fit properly, apparently my foot is slightly wide. Looking forward to the OG Feel.

Recently i was with a podiatrist he said, if the shoe is not immediately a perfect fit, dont buy it. Keep looking and find a shoe that fits. Obviously for some people True Linkswear will have a perfect shoe and for some they wont.

Skechers Go Golf are the most most underrated golf shoe there is. Not expensive so many think they're not a great shoe.

I had like 3 pairs of the Sensei years ago and wore them to work every day....great, wide toe box and I still wear an old pair to do yard work. I tried the TopGolf Knits and was disappointed in how narrow it they were. I really, really wanted to like them and maybe they would have stretched as I wore them...but for what I paid for them, I wanted them to be perfect right out of the box so I returned them.

I still love the brand and will give them another shot in the future, just an unfortunate experience this time. But excellent return policy and great service folks. The new version of the knits look awesome so I am sure I'll give them a try at some point.

Mixed results with Trues. Several have been great including the recent True Knit. Others have not been as comfortable and didn't hold up well.

Recently bought Skechers and very comfortable so far.

i do not have the balance for turf type shoes. But the Adidas 360s are very harsh on my heels. I'm in the cheapo Adidas sneaker type this month . I slide around a bit but they are comfy. I laugh because I still have some Footjoy Contour saddle shoes that feel like slippers

I have always been a Nike guy. I bought a pair of Skechers and liked them. Because I brought wet shoes with me to a course, I purchased a pair of Footjoys from the clubhouse and they were okay. My Eccos cut into my heel too much. I was at a golf shop and tried on a pair of Cuater Moneymakers and instantly fell in love with them. Signed up with Travis Mathew online and got 20% off a pair. I’ve walked 3 rounds with them and am super happy. The knit is breathable but also water resistant. The cushioning is like walking on pillows. I could probably walk 2 rounds in these, which is something I wouldn’t say about my Air Max 1Gs, which I love as well. Now, I’m thinking of adding a pair of Cuater Ringers to my collection.

The feels are not preorders. They are in stock and ship quickly. I bought a pair a few weeks ago and wore them last weekend. Didn’t find them comfortable. They are minimalist As advertised.....so little to no support....and they definitely dont have Support. More comfortable than what I had been wearing but I need a better fit with more support. I’m returning mine. I also bought a pair of premiums. Didn’t feel as comfortable as the standard originals. Just tried on inside and not sure I’m going to keep the premiums either. I have bunion issues/pain and also looking for a Pair that’s breathable. I have a pair of true knits but haven’t tried on the course as yet. What bugs me is any bunker okay with knit material. Shoes fill up with same which bugs me also. Had that with the feels and was annoyed.

Great company with an awesome return policy. I have never ordered a product that went back in the box as quickly as the True Majors did back in June. Maybe the narrowest golf shoes I have ever put on my feet despite their reputation of having a wide toe box. And yes I did upsize per everyone's and the company's guidance.

It looked and felt like a high quality product, just not for me. Skechers for practice and Eccos for playing..

Pretty painless on my end, of course it was less than 24 hours after I received them, that I sent them back. I guess I was shocked they were so narrow after reading all their marketing that their wide base was the secret to a comfortable shoe. I needed the room for a bunion and subsequent neuroma, ended up finding it in my Eccos........

Have had a few different versions. Not being able to get wide widths (not talking about the early clown shoe versions) in offerings a few years ago ticked me off. I moved on and back to FootJoy. I do wear one of my pairs of Trues for yard work - and still have a nice pair that I only wore a couple of times. I did wear them all over Scotland in ‘18 and they were fine, but did the same with the ProSLs last year. Favoring those since I bought them and now have another pair that will debut tomorrow morning. The zero drop thing is interesting but kind of pointless if the shoes aren’t wide enough to fit properly.

Just received my TL-01 but haven't played in them yet. They sent me a black pair (ordered white) and when I called them they NDA me a white pair assuming I'd send back the black. (Yeah I'm Sure they would have eventually charged me if i didn't send them back). I of course, did as I don't care for black shoes. Hope to wear them tomorrow.

I have 3 pair of new shoes. CodeChaos, boost 360Xt and TL-01.

I wear a 13 in most adidas. CodeChaos and 360 XT. And a 14 in Nike. My Biom Hybird 3 BOA are also 47. The TL-01 I bought are 13 (think that's the largest they go) but trying them on feels good. Haven't walked or practiced in them yet.
