For once I actually think the 5s look better than the 7s. I wanted to get a combo set but just couldn't stand the 585s. I might consider getting an entire set of ZX5s though!

That is not correct. I have the Z565s and the gap wedge is the same as the rest of the set. Here is a pic of the pitching wedge and gap wedge.

Leaning that way myself based on looks alone but the fact that the ZX7 has a thinner sole may ultimately be what sways me. Can’t wait to try both!

I play the 950GH in regular flex. Does anyone know how big a change it would be going to a Modus 105 in regular flex? I think in the past Srixon has charged for the 950GH.

The modus will be heavier, and lower flight with the stiffer tip section. If you really love the 950, you would want to at least test the 105's before committing.

Maybe someone smarter than me can verify this... It looks to me when comparing 785 vs ZX7 specs that they have reduced the offset a bit throughout the set? Granted I could be doing the inch to mm conversion wrong, but according to google conversions the offset on the 785 9 iron is .096" (2.44mm) vs ZX7 9 iron 2.0mm which carries down throughout the set
