As a 565 user since they released, I’ll be jumping on the 785’s at a bargain price now that my game has improved.. was waiting to see what this release had to offer.. at first glance, I’m disappointed..

So I’ve narrowed it down to these or the P770/P7MC combo.

Not really interested in the new JPX line anymore, which is probably the craziest thing I’ve ever said seeing that I’ve owned more Mizuno clubs in my life than anything else.

I just love the lines and contour of the ZX7’s, even the ZX5’s are catching my eye, it’s nice to see Srixon narrow the gap between these two.

Per the manual I posted it is modus 120 or 105. However they haven't posted their full options which I'm hopeful will follow the previous Irons options

damn. Thats annoying. Custom orders are taking forever. I could play dg120 or s300 or p 6.0 no problem. Looks like gonna have to custom, MODUS are so garbage IMO.

I agree. I was originally told September by Srixon. Others on here said it would be January.
However, why would they be sending out clubs to be reviewed in August if they're not going to be released for another 5+ months?

I think the Mizuno's look better, but I'll be interested to hit them against each other.
Last time I got new Irons came down to Mizuno HMPs and the Srixon 585. Even though the Srixon were forged I thought the Mizuno's felt softer and I really wasn't a fan of the black plastic in the cavity of the 585s. Performance was very similar and it ultimately came down looks and feel for me and Mizuno won out last time.
Still sometimes wonder if the V Sole would really make a difference with turf interaction or not though... so will have to try the new ones from both sometime (although I really don't need any new irons at the moment).

Totally agree on the 585s. The black rubber or whatever was very off-putting to me.

Seems like the ZX5 may be a little more of a Game Improvement iron than the JPX921F. If that’s true and they offer decent no upcharge shafts I’ll be buying Srixon. If not, will likely purchase JPX921HM or Titleist T300/T400.
