TaylorMade V-Steel 3 wood with Graphite Design Purple Ice and an Iomic Sticky 2.3.

Another solid club build/re-finish from Continental golf!

I sent them an extremely scuffed up V-Steel head that I bought from eBay, and a Purple Ice shaft I had and they made one of the best, if not THE BEST 3 wood bomber combo ever.

Re-finished in TaylorMade SLDR Grey.

This club brings me back to my high school days. It seemed like everyone had either a V-Steel Fairway or a Purple Ice shaft in their bag. I had this exact club back in 2003. Can’t wait to hit it again.

@Silentbob6 according to their website they are shutdown (the below verbiage is from their website). I am still waiting on a driver from them but it appears its going to be a while before I see it.
Continental Golf will be closed from 3/27/20 to 4/29/20 due to the COVID-19 stay at home order. We will reopen as soon as this is lifted. Thank you for your patience and we hope everyone stays safe during these trying times.  We will be checking voicemail and website messages as often as possible!

Guys I can clarify I went down last week on Tuesday because I live 15 minutes from them they were open but you cannot browse around you bring in your club you have them do whatever they need to do and you leave or you leave the club with them but they are in the back working from what I understand.

Hey @Continental Golf do you have a finish in between the Gloss SLDR Grey and Gloss Black?

They’ve done some really extreme color matching, no reason to believe they couldn’t literally do a blend of those two!

During the refurbishing process of irons could I ask for the irons to be brought back to stock specifications, including the right head weight (using tip weight if needed)?

I'm sure they could, but honestly there is very little room color wise between the two. SLDR Grey is a very dark, gunmetal grey in person, you'd really only have a couple ticks on the color wheel before it functionally becomes black.

I actually took my ping Threewood to Continental today I’ve always liked the look of the M2 head with the white and black and I’m actually going to have my Threewood done like that just to see how I like it

Wow. That is DOPE!!! Thank you for sharing this! I have the Ping G400 LST now, but I also had the M2 for years and loved the black/white contrast. Im 100% sending my driver into them once winter hits. I currently have 2 heads in there right now getting a face lift and cant wait to get those back.

Wow that is actually super cool. I never would have thought to try to mimic that color scheme/shape on a completely different club.

I played other day with it and the way it sets up now, nice, you can see the slightest open or closed face now, where before all black you needed few more seconds. It’s nice to look down and see right away and go! With me more I stand over the ball the worse the result. I’m really liking and so I turned my 410 driver over last week and getting it back this week.

Nice!  What made you decide to go with the gloss finish on the driver?  Or is the fairway also gloss?  Which do you like better?

I should be getting 2 more of my clubs back from Continental in the next few days.  Ill post pics of them when I get them.  Titleist 917F2 16.5 head that I got from eBay for $30 (very scratched up), and a Nike Vapor Flex 3 Hybrid head.  Cant wait to get them in and see how they turned out

Well the Threewood was an experiment and that is more of a matte finish and because I guess I said make it look like an M2 & M2 is gloss so I suppose they went with that,  it’s not a bad look if the gloss becomes too distractive I might have it change to a matte finish but I really like the way it looks

I actually picked up my head today, it’s actually a gunmetal gray metallic, they did a nice job.
