My swing plane and wrist supination?

Anyone have an idea whether my swing plane is shallow enough?

ive been working on not being steep. My path is usually 2-4 degrees right but not sure if it’s because I’m lifting my handle.

On the below videos I’m trying to exaggerate bowing my left wrist at the top

my miss is a push fade 20-30 yards

or a pull hook.

Im trying to draw the ball but I get mostly a weak baby fade unintentionally. My misses come close to base of club - so inside the sweet spot

both 6 irons.

handicap is at a 12

stopped playing for a year and a half and just started again last month

You're under the plane in backswing and over the plane in downswing. You kinda throw your arms behind you, causing the gravity of the club make the club go over the top. This results in an out-to-in club path which generates weak fades/slices. Hits toward the heel are mostly caused by out-to-in swing path.You should focus on creating a one-piece takeaway that removes compensations later in the swing.

Yeah, as Konsta said, you're back swing is so shallow that you don't have any choice but to come OTT on the downswing. Try getting your hands a little higher on takeaway so you can drop them into the slot & create a better path.

I had the same problem when I started out, the feeling that helped me was getting the shaft to stand straight up during the backswing.

Any videos on drills I can do. Having a hard time feeling what my backswing should feel like.

This is the video that made sense to me and got me going:

I was doing a lot of slow motion swings in a mirror to get it right and check quickly. Also I took some video down the line of full swings with those feels and checked to see if I was actually coming back upright and shallowing out.

It looks like your backswing plane is still flatter than the downswing.

The easiest way to check is to draw a line on the shaft when your arm is parallel to the ground. Ideally the backswing line should intersect the ground somewhere between the ball and your feet. The downswing line should cross the backswing line.

Try taking the club away outside the target line.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I urge you to investigate the Arm Swing Illusion thread. I've offered loads of different pieces of advice on how to get on plane over the years, but nothing makes it easier to understand than the ASI.
