My 2006 bag,

Driver - Cleveland Comp 460 9.5*- Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 83 x-flex D8

3wood - Titleist 980F 15degree - Aldila NV-75 s-flex fairway shaft - after 3 years of searching, I found the perfect fairway wood. I also have a 904, but i don't play it ( i like the 980 better )

3 iron - rescue - driving iron - PRGR 200i #3 - 19 Degree - S300 cut to 39.5" by me - D2

Irons 4-PW -Titleist Forged 695cb - s300 D2

Wedge Cleveland CG10 50 degree - my PW is 46 degrees so I added the 50 to fill the gap.

Wedge Cleveland CG10 54 degree low bounce

Wedge Cleveland RTG 60 degree, I have ground a little off the heal and toe of this club

Putter -31 1/2" doc 17 - I change putters all the time, I also play a 34" anserTi and a 35" Cameron studio 5.

My bag,

Driver - Cleveland Comp 460 9.5*- Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 83 x-flex
also, I still get out my SMT sometimes, the Cleveland is ok, but the SMT is a better head.

3wood - Titleist 980F 15degree - Aldila NV-75 fairway shaft - after 3 years of hating and continuously changing 3 woods, I finally found one that will be in my bag for awhile, this club is great from the fairway or the tee, and the shaft is by far the best shaft I have every played, it has a very nice firm tip that really keeps the shots online.

Irons 3-PW - Titleist DCI 990 Royal Precision Rifle 6.0 shafts d3 swingweight - I love these clubs they are very forgiving, very accurate. I also like the stock m580 grips (by far the perfect grip) just enough feel, but not harsh.

Wedge Cleveland CG10 54 degree low bounce

Wedge Cleveland RTG 60 degree, I have ground a little off the heal and toe of this club

Putter - Ping Doc 17 - 31 1/2" standard lie - I get lot's of comments on this putter, the best one I have heard is it being called a "potato masher"
I change putters all the time, I also play a 34" anserTi and a 35" Cameron studio 5.

Nice bag, You don't see many 990's anymore, I know two guys that I play with that use them, not many others though.

Thanks, wow, that is a big compliment coming from you, I just saw the great clubs you have. Wow, you have the finest collection I have ever seen.

 

I agree, it seemed like at one time everyone had the 990's and now they are all gone. I got mine when they first came out, and I just love them. I am so glad that they last, sometimes irons don't last so long, but these are great.

Thanks for the nice comments on the SMT, I love it. I would put it up against any OEM. SMT is the only component I would ever play. As you can see I stripped all the paint off of it, and the welds are so clean that it doesn't have bondo in it. Very well manufactured.
