We have been puting the Devotion in players bags that like the stiff tip and midsection of these shafts. The 60 and 70 profile very similar. The shaft will play very firm (similar to the Grafalloy Blue if you ever had one). Great shaft for the $$.
I have heard the opposite from this board on a few other threads, that they play weak to flex and that should be taken into account when tipping them??

I have a Devotion 6 '05' flex in Speed Pro D 9.5 and currently game a Grafalloy Blue stiff in an 8.5 905S fully inserted. I find the Grafalloy to play and feel stiffer, but I will say the Oban does have more feel and seems to be better with regards to dispersion. The Devotion seems to spin more (may be a factor of the Speed Pro having 1 more degree of loft) but I haven't gotten on a launch monitor to verify. Oban makes a great shaft, although from my experience they don't play stiff to flex. Certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend one though if you're looking to tighten up dispersion and can fit it with the correct loft!
Ask dlefty, he has one in his 9015d and was putting up some great numbers.
Same here. I've got the Devotion 6 (65 gms) in a 9015D upon the recommendation of the club fitter I go to here in Charlotte. They have a trackman launch monitor and are very up on the latest equipment. The Devotion came highly recommended, especially in this head for a high-spin player to bring down driver spin. He's mentioned that he has a bunch of guys on the Tarheel Tour in NC using the same combo with great results and like others above have mentioned, Oban really shines with regard to dispersion.

I haven't had it on the course yet, but on the range vs. my previous 9032LS resulted in a better ballflight, more roll and bit more carry. On the trackman, I was spinning the 9032LS 8.5 degree around 3,000 rpms,...the demo club I was hitting w/the Devotion brought it down to around 2,500-2,700. My 9015D is 9.5 degrees and the general height of the drives seem to be about the same.

My fitter recommended a Stiff flex (4 flex) for me, tipped 1/2" just to stiffen it up a bit as well as take off a bit more spin. My SS isn't up to the X-flex (5 flex). I will agree that it has great feel which I like a lot about these shafts.

I have a devotion in a hybrid. Got it for cheap, think Oban name is still not out there as much as other brands.

But man, its like throwing a dart. Butter Smooth and I can go as hard at it as I want.
Doesnt balloon, can hit it low or high. But even high, it doesnt look like its climbing, just tapers.
I have yet to hit a hybrid that I can really work like I can with the Oban. And I've hit a lot of hybrids out there. Been banned from local golf range cause of it too ;) I'm unbanned now :)

So now I'm trekking to get an Oban in my driver :)

Everybody relax, I’m here

Got fitted with the Oban by Ken from victory golf, top guy and love the shaft. It reduced my spin and launch angle and now I love the R9 460 head I play it in, before I was getting a bit too much spin and too high a launch.
Excellent shaft! They do play weak to flex and will require tipping to get best results. Depending on your specs that will obviously vary. Have not found a better shaft for the price and play the devotion 8 in the 05 flex. Joe Kwok is a great resource when it comes to fitting these shafts.
Awesome shaft for the money. They do play weak to flex, this was confirmed talking to an Oban Tech. They will require tipping, to what extent depends.
