Just wondering what are the cons of doing this?

I have an Adams A4 3 iron and figured it might make for a nice driving iron/hybrid.

Thanks

Do you know what the tip is? If it's taper tip, you can find some hybrid shafts that will fit it - I know some on here have done this. Anyone?

I'm also wondering about this. As I get down to my 5 iron it gets harder to get airborne, will using graphite help me out?
