Different Swings

Sometimes I will be watching the Golf Channel and I see something that looks like it would help me. So i go out the next day and it works for the first say 3 shot and then i cant find my swing again. What is going on? PLEASE HELP!!!

sounds like me a year ago or something like that, stay away from those playing lessons with the PRO things, i just stick with my coach and do what he says and im fine

Yup, I fully agree with Kevin, stick with what your instructor teaches you. I used to like probably a lot of people who watch the golf channel try to apply tips that they explain to my golf game, although sometimes they work, more times than not they contradict something that I have already learned. Essentially what you are doing is taking advice from a number of different people who are applying methods that they have been taught. Many times after you get your swing to a certain point where you have very solid fundamentals, it is because you have been taught by select individuals who have very similar methods of teaching the golf swing. Like I touched on before, if you are having problems with your swing, it's not always the best idea to take advice from a person speaking to an audience, but take advice from a individual who can pick out something by looking at your swing (Preferably someone who has been teaching/building your swing all along).

Damn. I always used to go do that, apply something from the golf channel. Sure it worked for a couple of shots like the guy before me said, but after that I was screwed!!.
