Fuji Vista Tour 60S vs Aldila nv protopype 60S

All things being equal, which shaft would be better fit for a swing speed of 93-95. I fight a mid high-ballooning flight when I am off. I have played the NV 65S, Vista Pro 70S in my last two drivers.

Any comments would be appreciated

Andrew - I haven't hit the Aldila protopype, but i have 2 drivers with the vista tour. It's a great shaft. I have a similar swing speed to yours and would recommend that your go with a regular flex in the fuji. It's a pretty stout shaft. If possible find a good fuji fitter in your area or ask Joe Kwok. What type of head were you thinking of putting the shaft into?

I had a B'stone 9.5* with the NV and it did hit the ball pretty high. I have MP001 and G5 with a vista tour. The MP is low boring flight. The G5 is a high launching head and even with the vista tour it goes pretty high, but it bores to an apex and then flatens out before falling. I do get a bit of run from the vista tour over the NV.

I would still recommend a regular flex. My swing speed is 95-99 and regular flex is all I can handle.

Hopefully Joe will chime in, I believe he is a fuji fitter.

Who is Joe Kwok? I had a speeder 757 about 5 years ago and I do remember the most of the Fuji's are more stout, then most other comparable shafts. Notice you play the bettinari putter, I also have one, hands down, have never had a better putter. I played the Cobra 414 Tour a couple of years ago, it had the Vista Pro 65S, just was not as consistent with it, as I would have liked.

I love my bettinardi. I actually have been using a BB2 for most of the year. It's been in and out of my bag for about 3 years but I think it has found a place for a while now.

I love my 414. I like the smaller heads. I find them easier to square up. The whole vista series have been great shafts. I wish fuji was going to keep them in the lineup.
