FT Tour irons not out yet?

I will find out tomorrow. I will tell you the FT-Tour is the FT-9 TA looks, sound and the flight was a touch higher but the spin seemed close. Wow. Just wow. What a driver.

Thanks for all the pics The FT Tour looks exactly like the FT9 Authentic. No wonder the prices are dropping like crazy. I have high hopes for a nice FT Tour I-mix setup. Did you happen to see the I-mix version there or hear any talk of it?

I didn´t think the I-Mix concept worked with a full length hosel....

Never heard of the FT5 TH in I-mix, so would suspect that it won´t be available in FT Tour. In any case with full length hosel, it should be easier to re-shaft than normal FT9.

the FT-Tour looks a little bigger than the FT-9 TA. Is that so they can make it more forgiving than the Tour Authentic?

I've heard from several people on this board that the ft tour will be available in I-mix. I hope that's the case.

is it just me - or did the Callaway designers reach back into the Hogan archives and tear a page out of the Hogan forged CFT irons when they came up with that Diablo forged club? I am sure it is more refined - but that has to the foundational design they started with....

The Callaway rep I spoke with at an Edwin Watts in Atlanta yesterday said no iMix for the FT Tour.

Hopefully we can a definitive answer from easyyy. One of the guys who said yes in another thread was a Callaway employee.


It's gonna be very disappointing if I can't try out my truckload of shafts with this head.

Ditto on the diablo forged. Have been looking to get a set of the 2007 model which IMO look wise are far sweeter than the 2009 model. I think the new diablo gets the bump over both.

I had seen the Diablo Edge Tour Driver inside the show at the convention center. It's a sweet looking driver, looks alot like the FT Tour to me from address...

I completely agree, the new wedges look awful. There is no way that I'm switching to those any time soon from my vintage X-Forged because of the look as well as the fact that I'm not goin to play the new grooves until my tournaments require it.

Thanks for those side by side pics of the FT-Tour and the FT-9 TA. They do look very similar. Maybe its just the camera angle but is the TA face slightly more open than the FT-Tour? Regardless... I think a new driver is on the horizon for me...
