For all the hype about the new people at Scratch golf those putters look worst than K-Mart putters. Welds are awful and the finish's are not nothing to brag about as well. Just my opinion but the girls are hot though

Man the wedges look unbelievable, I need to get some soon, love the Irons as well, the putters do not look good to me, not the quality I expected, I have to agree with Clark the welding looks very bad.

I agree the putters look pretty rough. Everything else looks sweet though.....

I kind of like the putters! They look like they are really hand made. Not spit out 1,000 a time off of a machine.

Great to see all you WRX guys yesterday and today!

The putters are prototypes that are all hand made. We are working on production models that will be CNC milled and hand finished.

Are those the 5 putters in a previous thread? If so, they started off looking good but the end results are bad. I am new here on this board but I have heard nothing but great things about Scratch, I do not mean to be a critic but there are tons of
pictures of hand made putters on this board as well as some other boards that are are of unbelievable quality and craftsmanship as are your irons
and wedges, I think the Don White wedges are the nicest wedges I have ever seen and would love to purchase some, but I am sorry the putters
look like a school project.

Yeah, the world needs more mass produced putters that look just like every other putter... Try to expand the mind just a bit and realize that these putters were intended to look 'rough' in that they are handmade, not mass produced.

Some people like art, flaws and all, others just want more mass produced prints which have been sanitized of any creative thought process. If I were to order a handmade putter and it looked 'perfect' and like every other putter, I'd dump it quickly. For this type of product, the beauty is in the process...

The beauty is also in how handmade putters like this feel. To each his own.

Consider this though-McDonald's Quarter Pounders all look the same but does that mean they are the best tasting hamburger you can buy?

The irons look great.

The Don White wedges - well, they're Don White wedges! Fantastic!!!!

The putters on the other hand... well... they look absolutely horrid. I'd re-think taking those to merchandise shows. Heck, I'd think twice about letting those leave the shop.

Just to get some of your taste buds going from my talks with Scratch golf at the show, but here were two comments that I LOVED hearing:

1) The hats that Ryan Moore they are working on bringing to full production.

2) They are considering taking blank molded iron heads and letting the consumer decide how they would like the cavity designed. Essentially, you can take a set of Mizunos you love and have the cavity cut the same in the Scratch heads. All I can say is WOW!

Had the pleasure of chatting with Don White for a few minutes at the show. Couldn't have been a nicer guy. He was telling me about his current macgregor set and how he's going to have a set of all 3 Scratch irons made and play around with them to see which ones he wants to play. I own a few Scratch wedges but had not seen the irons in person, but the AR-1 are easily the most appealing set of clubs I've ever come across.
